  1. Hey thanks for looking into it! I just did some googling and that looks like a known bug.
  2. It looks like the CEF Harrier Tarawa Caucus and PG campaigns don't work. I just spawn into the F10 map.
  3. I logged onto Dogs of War last night to fly. I couldn't get the P51 started! while people around me got going no problem, It wouldn't even auto start with a new plane and everything.

  5. I think it's mostly ok in the non visual aspect. I haven't seen or been the bullet absorbing sponge some people mention, maybe they are missing? Gunnery is very different then any game I have played, I think its for the better but it seems harder. The visual DM does seem to lack.
  6. Is it possible to get an include/exclude option for aircraft, and other AI? Or even a generation/era tag of some sort... I know that would involve adding that information to all units and weapons in game, as well as the fast mission gui. For example I would like to chose f-86 as my aircraft and have the generator create a mission with mig 15s, not F-15c's. and older t55s instead of abrams, ect.

Thanks for the response nate, I don't really care about most of it's features, I simply want this Filled out like this On the in game kneeboard The number 1 thing I want on there in game is the navigation data with hdg, distance, speed, and time. Maybe a snapshot of the re arm panel showing what stores are loaded, or just text. again, I'm not concerned about the weapons delivery planning stuff. I figure since the map is already displayed with waypoints, it's half way there. Now give me the text on a mission data card:D It could be generalized too, Or each aircraft could have it's own card made out for it and a .lua can tell the game what parameters go where. The ultimate would be all fields filled out automatically from what is in the mission planner. And an option to export the kneeboard on another monitor (which may already exist) at a size I deem worthy. Thinking deeper. The game should be able to correlate the aircrafts assigned frequencies (ex mig 21 radio) and produce a radio channel for the Take off action, and landing action. Maybe figure out which friendly airbase is closest to the attack point and put it under alternate airbase then do the same thing for its radio/nav freq. It should be able to run through the Mission planner and take the wp # or name, times, hdgs, and alt, and shuffle it all onto the card along with radio beacons and settings for the in game nav instruments...ect ect. ect.

I was hunting around for a program like falcons weapon delivery planner, that doesn't exist for DCS :( This is almost mandatory IMO as going into the mission planner and doing it yourself is horrendous. It would be great if DCS just automatically updated your in game kneeboard with a mission data card with WP time, heading, alt, Airport frequencies, Awacs, ect. It already draws the Waypoints so It's getting this data from somewhere. It needs to be expanded. I don't want to fly marking my kneeboard in aircraft like the Mig21. I know I can already tune all this stuff in myself, it's just time consuming going into the planner and trying to figure it all out.
  9. In this mission I'm immediately spectating. no aircraft seems to be assigned to player.
  10. RH54 seems to be stopping it from working. I don't know if that's intended.
  11. I have a seemingly random issue where the gunsight wont turn on, I have the sight switch up and both the fixed grid and the gyro switches on, with illumination all the way up...Am I missing something? dc/ac gens are both on, no warning lights. Other times the sight works.
  12. Just want to say thanks for the awesome server. Anyone who was complaining about DCS and WW2 just needs to hop on DOW. Thanks again, but I hate you guys, DOW ruined every other ww2 multiplayer sim for me. Even though I'm sure I'm a few of those 190s in Owls movies. I cannot wait to play some of the more objective based missions being put out now.:pilotfly:
  13. Which isn't quite insane when you consider they were lucky to get 300 hours out of a 109 airframe, and that's just normal operating, not including combat damage ect. now we have F-16s running 6000 plus hours!
  14. After re-installing windows (Months ago) and forgetting to save all of my aircraft profiles for DCS I finally got around to mapping everything for the P51. It's pure bliss. I cannot wait for an entire theater for these aircraft. P.S You don't need to update me ever Luthier, just email me when it's time to fire up the 109 and wreck face.
  15. I don't want to be the bearer of bad news but I think the DM is engine limited to the way it looks now. I say looks because it still behaves properly but doesn't look as great as it could.
  16. Came here for the first time. Find people complaining about the curvature of the earth not being modeled. Yup sim fans.
  17. Really looking forward to EDGE. The only thing that drives me nuts is that my crappy PC gets 5-10 less FPS then the top of the line.
  18. That really puts West Aircraft into perspective from an engineering standpoint, there are F-16s with over 6000 hours on them.
  19. DCS: Su25KM or SM It would be amazing to have an the KM or SM variant. The SM would make more sense since 80% of the Russian Su25 Inventory will be modified for it.
  20. Good news I guess, Groove Pm'd me and asked for a video of the problem as they couldn't replicate it on their latest dev build. So I sent a video and explanation. Hopefully we get a fix soon, or, as they couldn't replicate it, it is already fixed in their builds (magic).
  21. Going on 2 months now.....Beta 1.2.4 in the DCS world video... This is why people aren't to excited about the future. All these projects, all of them half finished, G940 users left out to dry with a game breaking bug that was fine before. This is getting old fast. Don't worry though FC4 will be out in 2 months for 29.99 to finally make all DCS modules compatible and in 2 weeks we will be graced with Combined warfare module bringing all modules into the module of the module that is required to have all modules so you can run the modules in a persistent module, where, when combined with FC7 will allow all modules to communicate with the main DCS UNIVERSE modules module MODULE
