Update: one of our pilots found the culprit, it was the ColorFadingFactor value. You can try our current SmokeTrail.lua if you want (attached in the message). smokeTrail.lua

Hi there, we are on the same boat talking about the "aerobatic" smokes. We fixed (sort of) the smoke length by editing (again) the smoketrail.lua file, but we ask for help about the coloured smokes that fade into white very soon. We were able to fix it in the previous version, but we can't now. Looking forward for the community help, thanks in advance.

Buongiorno a tutti, con questo post vogliamo tenervi tutti aggiornati sullo stato di sviluppo dell'MB-339. In questi ultimi mesi il nostro aereo ha subito un grosso restyling sia grafico che di codice rendendo l'esperienza simulativa più autentica. Tuttavia, abbiamo riscontrato alcuni scogli tecnici che rendono ardua la chiusura del progetto e pertanto è necessario avere accesso alle SDK (ad esempio per creare il sistema di navigazione completo, rendere operative le radio, e così via). Grazie alla recente collaborazione con IndiaFoxtEcho, nota software house italiana attiva da 10 anni su diverse piattaforme di volo simulato, stiamo valutando la possibilità di intraprendere strade commerciali pertanto lo sviluppo dell'MB-339 free è sospeso fino a data da destinarsi. Sarà comunque possibile scaricare la versione corrente dell'MB-339 (v2.0.1) ma non sarà più supportata (ultima versione DCS testata 2.5.6.49798). Non escludiamo comunque la possibilità del rilascio di future fix minori che andranno a sistemare piccoli bug di compatibilità con le nuove versioni di DCS World. Goodmorning everyone, with this post we want to keep all of you updated about the development status of the MB-339. In recent months our aircraft has undergone a major restyling both graphic and code making the simulation experience more authentic. However, we encountered some technical pitfalls that make difficult the closing of the project and therefore it is necessary to have access to the SDKs (e.g. creating the complete navigation system, making the radios operational, and so on). Thanks to the recent collaboration with IndiaFoxtEcho, a well-known Italian software house active from 10 years on several flight simulators, we are evaluating the possibility of undertaking commercial routes, therefore the development of the MB-339 MOD is suspended until a date to be decided. It will still be possible to download the current version of the MB-339 (v2.0.1) but it will no longer be supported (last DCS version tested 2.5.6.49798). However, we do not exclude the possibility of the release of future minor fixes that will fix small compatibility bugs with new versions of DCS World. Thanks for your support over the years! Siamo venuti a conoscenza del fatto che in Accademia Aeronautica gli aspiranti del terzo anno utilizzano il nostro MB-339 per le loro attività interne. Siamo orgogliosi del lavoro fatto e auguriamo a questi giovani ragazzi un futuro pieno di grandi soddisfazioni! Siamo orgogliosi di aver fatto parte, seppur in minima parte, della loro formazione.

We have learned that third year cadets of the Italian Air Force Academy use our MB-339 for their internal activities. We are proud of our work and wish these young guys a future full of great satisfaction! We are proud to have been part of their formation, albeit to a lesser extent.

Fuel gauge PYL indication doesn't show actual value 3. Rotation flood and console knobs is inverted 4. The parking brake deactivates while pushing toe brakes 5. Navigation lights on eliptical tip tanks are not visible 6. Gunsight reticle illumination too low 7. TrackIR doesn't work 8. Unused commands are still present in controls list 9. Canopy lock texture (red mark) missed 10. The aircraft doen't lost energy during high-G turns (G > 6.0) 11. Engine compressor texture is not mapped 12. Sync issue related to tip tanks position in multiplayer 13. Landing light animation in multiplayer doesn't work 14. Flight controls operation while using keyboard input is too slow 15. Kneeboard doesn't close (the pages doen't change yet, it will be fixed) 16. MB-339 sounds replace the sounds of other DCS Modules The following features have been added: 1. Added zoom axis 2. Added force feedback feature 3. Engine shutdown deceleration improved 4. Idle RPM are now affected by Mach Number and Altitude 5. Improvements of external and internal texture/3D model 6. Q1) I can't use the radionav, I can't switch frequencies because the switches are non clickable. Is this still work in progress or am I doing something wrong? A1) It is not implemented yet. It is planned for the future (look at the first post). Q2) And also on ground when I contact the ground crew there is no option to ask for the air supply, only the elec power is available.. A2) Also this feature will be implemented in the future Thanks :)
