Hi guys I started playing DCS roughly 4 years ago and apart from the Flaming 3 planes, I also have a FA 18 Hornet and a F16c. I have been busy for a while with work but now I want to fly regular and train hard, however, my settings are very messed up and I truly need help in setting my joystick to its functions. Can anyone please help me set up my HOTAS Warthog joystick? We could use Microsoft Team viewer if you want to help me. Thanks a lot

This is what pops up when I get to step 5 ; "'DCS_updater.exe' is not recognized as an internal or external command, operable program or batch file." What else can I do? I am not that good with computers. Sorry guys:(:(:)

Hi folks, I still haven't downloaded the open beta, hence, I cannot enjoy the F/A 18 like most of you. How long does it normally take ED to release planes or maps on the stable/ normal DCS after they have been released on the early access? A week? A month? A year? Greetings to you all

Muss ich das googlen und dann herunterladen oder befindet sich dieses sog. "Open Beta" im normalen DCS Spiel?

Don't I have to download and install it or it is somewhere hidden in the normal DCS??

So if I understand you correctly, you have two different types of DCS you play on? Which one do you normally use and apart from Early Access, it is useful to download and install "open beta" on my computer too??

This is exactly what I was expecting but unfortunately I still cant download. I don't have "open beta" just normal DCS 2.5.2. Could that be the issue?

Wieso könnt Ihr alle schon fliegen und ich kann nicht mal das Flugzeug bzw. Modul herunterladen, obwohl ich DCS 2.5 habe??? Auf DCS Hornet Website steht ganz klar "Already Purchased", nichtdestotrotz kann ich den F A 18 im Modules nicht herunterladen und fliegen.

How is it possible that some people can fly and I don't even see the purchase under "Modules" and if I go to the DCS Hornet site, it clearly shows "Already Purchased". Having said THAT, WHY CANT I DOWNLAOD??? I have DCS 2.5.2. What is the problem?

Ja! Denn für Bodenziele muss man ja zuerst die "Nummer 7", dann "D" und erst dann Trigger auf dem HOTAS Joystick tätigen. (Diese Schritte meine ich mit Prozeduren) Für Luft Luft Missiles muss man ja die "Nummer 2" oder "Nummer 3" drücken und dann? Obwohl ich danach den Trigger drücke werden die Missiles nicht los gefeuert. Ich kann einfach keine Luft Luft Missiles schiessen in den SU 27 und 33.

Hallo Leute Ich kann nun eines meiner Probleme konkret benennen: Das erste Problem ist mit den russischen Jets (SU 27 und SU 33). Hier kann ich jeweils keine Missiles abfeuern. Mit dem SU 33 kann ich in der Normandie "Rakete auf Bodenziele angreifen", jedoch keine Luft-Luftrakten abschiessen (mit beiden SU nicht). Ich verstehe jedoch nicht, wieso das so ist. Weil bspw. beim F15 ist es sehr einfach Luftraketen abzufeuern und deswegen spiele ich momentan nur "Intercept Missionen". Bei den russichen Jets funktioniert das jedoch nicht. Bei den A10 kann ich auch nur Bombemn abwerfen, aber keine Luft-Luftraketen. Stimmt irgendetwas mit meinen Einstellungnen nicht? Oder müssen bestimmte Prozeduren eingehalten warden? Es will einfach nicht klappen. Vielen Dank für die Hilfe

Hallo zusammen Nichts für Ungut, ich habe lediglich nach Schweizern gefragt, da ich gerne einige persönlich kennen lernen würde, damit wir uns bei einem möglichen Treffen austauschen könnten. Mit jemandem aus D oder Ö gestaltet sich das eher schwierig :). Aber natürlich nehme ich Tipps und Tricks von allen sehr gerne entgegen. :thumbup:

Hi Danke und zur Zeit fliege ich alle Flugzeuge des Flaming Cliffs 3 regelmässig. Sprich, SU 27, SU 33, A10, F 15C. F/A 18 bereits bestellt :) und warte entspannt drauf. Das Problem ist, ich habe verschiedene Probleme bei den Jets. Zum Beispiel bei den SUs klappts nicht mit dem Schiessen von Missiles. Ich schaffe es irgendwie nicht ein korrektes "Weapons Change" durchzuführen, (obwohl ich Matt's Tutorials mehrere Male angeschaut habe) und somit schiessen die Missiles nicht. Ich habe mehr oder weniger dasselbe Problem mit dem A10. Schiessen mit dem MG ist keine Sache. Bomben abwerfen mit dem A10 klappt auch aber das Zielen ist katastrophal. Irgendwie will momentan nichts funktioniere. Ein weiteres Problem ist die Navigation, die sogenannte "waypoints". Ich habe das Gefühl, dass ich nur im Kreise fliege. Am besten beherrsch ich den F 15 aber ich kann leider keine Mission beenden, da ich meistens nie ans Ziel komme. KOMISCH:(:lol::huh:

You guyz really make our (Newbies) lives very easy. Its working now. I have not crashed during my last four take offs so far! The longer I wait and let the engines charge fully the smoother is my take off. However, as I said in my initial posting I only have this problem with the F15. Anyway, thanks very much!

Wooow, das freut mich doch jetzt schon hier einige Schweizer kennen zu lernen. Ich hatte fast Angst gehabt alleine zu sein. :):smilewink: Danke euch für das herzliche Willkommen. Wie schon erwähnt bin ich neu im DCS und ich würde mich freuen ein paar Tipps von euch Veteranen zu bekommen. Momentan schaue ich noch die YouTube Videos von Rakuzard und anderen an. Wie habt ihr euch alles beigebracht (Prozedure, Missiles, das Fliegen an sich, Waffe wählen, zielen, usw.) denn es scheint viel Stoff zu sein :):). Zudem stürze ich die ganze Zeit ab. Momentan ist es mühsam und macht noch nicht so spass. Jedoch möchte ich nicht so schnell aufgeben. Bis bald

Hi guyz Something has been happening to me for quite a while now and I have this issue only on the F 15C. Depending on which engine I start first, my plane always drifts during the take off to that position and I crash. If I start left engine first, then the jet drifts towards the left grass before I can pull up and explode or crash immediately I pull up. In case I start the right engine first, I end up in the fence. I am only having this issue with a fully loaded F15. Other jets are ok, no problem at take off. I have a ratio of 8 take off crashes to 2 with the F15 which I don't understand why. Any ideas why and possible solution please? Thanks Best
