  1. Nice work and the price seems good as well, for anyone with a warthog these are well worth the money IMO.
  2. My extension is by 1PL_Sahaj it is 10cm which for my center mount setup is perfect and not too long where you end up putting to much stress on the neck. Take a look at this thread http://forum.il2sturmovik.com/topic/2042-selling-thrustmaster-warthog-extensions/ Not usre if he has any left but they are a great addition to a warthog I couldn't be without it now.
  3. Im the same, I have only recently updated my simpeds with a bodner board and some strengthening of the weak spots but I want these badly:helpsmilie:
  4. Force feedback is nice but not for everyone, I have used it and didnt like it all that much, some areas don't really feel realistic to me and it can effect aim. The cost would also surely skyrocket apart from the issue with getting the software/hardware to be at least as good as the MSFFB2 but isn't the design for that copyrighted in some way as well? Of course if you can get the feel of ffb right and combine it with a realistic stick I'm sure there will be many buyers including myself.
  5. Will the limited stick movement of a 109 also be modelled in FFB, so that when flying a 109 you are more limited in pitch and roll than in a Spit, owing to it's split stick? Not really sure that FFB as it is today is necessarily the way it is supposed to be, many of the feelings fed back through ffb may not have been felt in a real plane, as many were felt more through the seat of the pants, and the forces you face with FFB are nothing to what you would be dealing with in real life. Hopefully the sounds will help those without FFB to sense the onset of stall etc.
  6. A re-grease with some M-kote EM-30L sorted my sticktion problems I keep the o-ring well greased and so far so good, but getting rid of the crap grease they use is the best thing I have done for my warthog.
  7. Yeah it makes no difference on my throttle either?
  8. I found it quite easy took about an hour to clean of and then apply the EM-30L grease, the only thing you need to ensure is that you pull the black wire so that it doesn't get nipped when putting things back together, it made a huge difference for me in the smoothness, no sticktion as they were calling it. Next is an extension, but I love the accuracy of this stick as is but want to centre mount it eventually.
  9. Yeah took about 10 h before I could start to regularly land on the rig, but it is good when you start nailing it regularly, seems to be all about muscle memory, and if you have no anti torque pedals or decent throttle for collective that will make it harder, well done.
  10. Once you press the button with the mouse as long as you don't release it your mouse pointer does not need to stay on the button from what I've found, I find all of these switches difficult with the mouse though, luckily I have a ch quadrant and the warthog throttle so plenty of switches and buttons in the real world.
  11. Good old VRS, pops up at the most unexpected times, just as you think you have a tight landing nailed you watch the vsi wind off the clock, that's just before arse meets your elbows.:helpsmilie:
  12. Never f;own a real aircraft but Im finding that after 10 hours in DCS Huey I'm able to land safely on the oil rig 90% of the time and hovers etc are becoming a lot easier, I dont use trim as it tends to confuse me as to where the stick is, but Im used to long flight times in ROF with the Warthog and most of those planes require constant forward pressure so I guess I'm just used to it. I'm loving the Huey I gave BS a go for a while but I wanted to try out a full on helicopter and with VRS etc modelled this bird is a huge challenge but that's what makes it fun, well when you get it right. Can't comment on the FM as I've never been in a real Huey but it does feel right, if that means diddly, damn good product for a Beta.
