  1. Thanks for replying with a fix Timghetta the model looks awesome you guys have done an amazing job on her she's easily one of my favorite modules. I look forward to its development in the future.
  2. I watched your track and there were afew instances of rapid over G from what I've found the rocking motion is from over G damage to the airframe the F15E isn't fly by wire and won't restrict AOA thus G loading is instant if you pull back to fast on the stick at high speeds. In real life aerodynamic forces are acting upon the control surfaces making quick jolts to the control stick very hard to do but with a simulator Hotas there is no such limitation and worse no flight computer between the controls and flight surfaces to correct for the error like in the F-16 or F/A-18. so ultimately overly rapid inputs can cause structural damage to the aircraft it causes simulated damage to the wingtips of the F15E I think that's why after a few abrupt over G maneuvers the airframe starts to rock slowly side to side in level flight they have also simulated the damage model for this as seen in the pictures below. Otherwise, I do see what you mean about the rudders oscillating like crazy I'm not sure as to why this specific thing is happening. I may not be 100% correct here but it may have something to do with the damaged wing and the Aileron/Rudder Interconnect (ARI) and the Yaw Channel CAS. the F15 series has a system in place to assist pilots who forget or hesitate to use rudder inputs during maneuvers I'm not 100% sure but I think after the damage the YAW CAS was in some way chasing its own tail trying to compensate for the wing dip from the damaged wings and the yaw it was producing but it was overcompensating and thus causing the oscillation if that makes sense. from what I've read online is that the F-15 has strong positive dihedral effect, which produces strong roll in the direction of yaw at all flight conditions at higher speed the wingtip dip from side to side would be exacerbated take into account the left engine failure adding even more yaw and it's likely the Aileron/Rudder Interconnect (ARI) was freaking out the Yaw CAS just a theory would be awesome to see if this was the actual issue. Edit: out of interest I replayed the track took control of the F15 after the oscillation it looks like the left engines feed tank ran dry of fuel explaining why it stopped, I reduced both throttles to idle and used the YAW CAS switch just above the throttle to reset it a few times it worked, and the rudder oscillation stopped completely it looks like it may have been possibly a few factors leading to the CAS freaking or maybe a series of factors like wing overstress/damage and engine failure thus asymmetric thrust also the added possibility of hitting the mirages wake side on too but overall looks like the CAS was going crazy hahaha.
  3. Just a guess but you might have synchronized controls with HOTAS controls at mission start ticked. it's a setting in the Misc tab untick it if it's ticked. If that's not the problem, then I have no idea.
  4. Hi currently noticed a possibly small modeling issue I'm not an expert though I understand the air intakes on an F15 move but what I'm not sure about is if they are supposed to be somewhat Asymmetrical in height all the time. The right intake sits noticeably higher than the left intake ramp in all situations be it static on the ground or in the air at level flight. Even at different pitch angles. In the images I've provided I've switched the ramps to emergency to keep then fully open and static. Using the danger ejection seat triangles as a reference point you can see just how much higher the right engine ramp extends compared to the left. I hope I explained this well Hahaha. Kind regards T-Bone
  5. I also agree would be awesome if Aerges did just that.
  6. Fearsome-13 Just saw your post on Facebook Mirage F1 pilots that's perfect man really great work even better then what I hoped for
  7. Hey AdrianL I did have a look at them but besides the color fix and roundels era corrected they are unfortunately still incorrect in location and the danger ejection seat warning should be just under the cockpit its also is where the roundel should be. Also the 3 Squadron emblem is still to big needing to come up and to the left a'bit more and the SA flag on the pilots shoulder is era incorrect otherwise it is really good work
  8. I know its probably not a priority but and I say this with all understanding and kindness I will also mention I personally have no idea how to make skins for DCS and have never tried I also assume its very complex but as someone with OCD HAHAHA and a South African I must say the SAAF skin is almost completely wrong hahaha it has the old flag on the tail (period correct orange white and blue) yet the pilot has the new south African flag patch from 1994 which is odd considering the F1CZ was retired in 1992 it also has the wrong roundels for the paint scheme being the eagle (introduced as the standard roundel in 1994) instead of the springbok (period correct for pre 1992 ) It's also in the wrong location. The paint scheme is ever so slightly off from what I can tell. Its also ever so much a'few shades out of color I honestly cannot not judge though so please take this as constructive criticism not me being offensive. I've attached some photos to give a visual idea of what I'm talking about. And ill say again I've never even tried making a skin for a module and I truly do love this module I've been following your development for years eagerly waiting it just makes it hard for me as a mission maker to go and ask people to go and find and download skins etc. If you guys could find the time to even consider fixing this I bet a whole lot of us South Africans would be truly thankful Kind regards T-Bone
  9. I've also reproduced this bug but when getting damaged from flak it always seams to be the same pylon.
  10. I personally preferred the CZ black nose more TBH hahaha null
  11. I can also confirm both vehicles are still broken on the latest open beta yet somehow ED's Chieftain is fine very strange. null null
  12. Both the Chieftain MBT and the WW2 asset Daimler scout car are unable to use the Main turret as if the player is stuck in drivers position. oddly the turret still targets and engages enemy's firing on its own like its being controlled/crewed by an AI. I've tried this both in first person and isometric view to the same result. I've also noticed the new T-72B3 unit is unable to be driven/used in combined arms and is still grayed out? sorry if this has been brought up already. also completely random but an awesome addition to the units list would be a Centurion Tank preferably an Australian MK5/1 hint hint hahaha Kind regards. T-Bone
  13. I took a hit from a ZSU-57-2 and the result was very odd I lost the right aileron but with no other visual damage and just had a bunch of flames projecting from mid air near my aircraft hahaha I did feel the effect though and the aircraft was highly uncontrollable landing was tough. I'm running the latest open beta
  14. Thanks for the reply Thanks heaps for the reply Lads its had me a bit stumped I know they changed up some of the drag values in this update and I wasn't sure if that may have been causing a thrust or aerodynamic performance issue :/ I guess I may have just been overthinking this hahahaha thanks again for your replies. :)
