  1. Hello. I have made an AI JTAC using Lua scripts. It all works great and adds a lot of functionality over the in game JTAC(Wags). I am trying to get targets loaded into the CAS page with as much automation as possible. The JTAC creates a mark point on the F-10 Map named "#TP1" but this cannot be loaded into the CAS page. if the player creates a mark point on the F-10 Map named "#TP1", this can be loaded into the CAS page. Just wondering if it is possible to load a mark point added via scripts?

I have updated it for compatibility with DCS 2.9 https://www.digitalcombatsimulator.com/en/files/3313504/ Unzip the folder and add it to USERNAME\SavedGames\DCS World\Missions\Campaigns. It will then be available in the campaigns list under MyCampaigns
  5. Deleted App data folder and ran the same mission 3 times. On each attempt, certain controls became unresponsive. This is not as dramatic as falling through the floor but does illustrate the desync issue. As an example, the APU switch became unresponsive to mouse clicks and key bindings. The switch animation did not occur but the Click noise from the switch could be heard. on 2 out of 3 attempts, I lost all axis commands, so L&R throttles and stick would not respond in the sim. I opened the Controls menu, and all Axis commands registered normally in the controls menu. I replayed all 3 tracks and the desync does not occur in the tracks. I honestly would not bother pursuing this, but its been going on for over 2 years and would be good to nail down what's going wrong. Next, I will record the flight on OBS so you can see what's happening as it doesn't seem apparent in the track files. Track 1.trk Track 2.trk Track 3.trk
  6. Since my previous post, I did a slow repair and made sure their was nothing in the SavedGames folder that shouldn't be there. I was able to reproduce the issue on first attempt. Client aircraft fell through floor of Nellis air force during cold start. Attempted to Save Track file, an error message Popped up saying it could not recover file from appdata, or something to that effect. I have attached, the logfile and TACVIEW file that shows player aircraft at -10,000 feet. I am going to delete the appdata folder and try again.   7. This concern had become far less frequent over the 2 years since this post was first published. However, from time to time it would randomly occur. However since 2.9 dropped, I am noticing it frequently now. While cold starting an aircraft, controls become unresponsive. On one occasion, Players aircraft fell through the earths crust and plummeted downwards. While Taxiing to runway, aircraft controls became unresponsive and aircraft slowly levitated off the ground. This issue only occurs when running Lua scripts (That I am Aware of). I ran the same mission and removed the lua scripts and their were no abnormalities. Some instability is expected when a huge update like 2.9 is released. I will post tracks as they become available.
  8. I noticed the new F-15E AI is unable to attack targets with Laser Guided weapons. All dumb bombs seem to work ok. Attached is a Miz file that demonstrates the problem F-15E_TEST.miz

  10. I had similar issues to what your describing. I found the only way to prevent it is to use the frame rate limiter in OpenXR toolkit. I have it set to 90fps (same as Pitool) and no longer experience the stuttering home screen, or stuttering when in game. If your unfamiliar with what I'm describing, Id be happy to walk you through it.

  13. The AIRBASE name is the ships UNIT name from the mission editor. i.e A2ADispatcher:SetSquadron( "KUZNETSOV", "KUZNETSOV_01", REDFOR_NAVAL_A2A_DSIPATCHER_TEMPLATE, 6 )
  14. Hello, I would like to request a new Callsign be added for aircraft groups --CYLON-- It was used by RedAir in numerous REDFLAG exercises circa 2002 to 2006. Also its just cool. I have attached a recording from a red flag exercise, the Cylon callsign can be heard around the 4 minute mark onwards. So Say We All 316p209052002am.ogg

  17. I was trying to add client slots for mirage f1 to a mission. I noticed irregular behaviour that only effects the mirage F1. The mission editor condition "UNIT OUTSIDE ZONE" works with all other modules, but not the Mirage. Also noticed problems when using MOOSE to script a moving zone around the client. It works for all modules except the Mirage. I made a test mission that illustrates the issue. two units parked on the ramp, both inside a trigger zone. A message will appear if either unit is outside the trigger zone. Selecting the F-16C slot, No message is displayed. Selecting the Mirage F1, a message is displayed on mission start. TEST MISSION.miz

  20. In OB 2.7.11 some of the western side of the map has been removed. I have no issue with this, except that any late activated groups that were located in the region that has been removed are no longer accessible. The Units are still there, just cant physically scroll to there location in the ME. not an issue if its just a handful, But I have over 2000 late activated groups located in a region of the map that I can no longer access.
  21. Tested again in 2.7.11 Ground vehicles still unable to follow a route smoothly when using "go to waypoint" task. No complaints, just thought I'd bring it up again as its been a while since I reported it.

  23. Hello @Scotch75 I have fixed the F/A-18 Follow me vehicle blocking the runway in mission 1. I checked the rest of the missions, it seems it was only the first mission that was effected.   25. Just went through the patch notes for 2.7.9.17830 It mentions there is a new key bind for "Minigun Fire", however I cannot find this in the list of key bindings.
