  2. Please correct me if I am wrong, but I believe the Radios are not included in X:COCKPIT PRAM EQUALS. nullI am hoping that this will be added at some point as it is a very useful tool for mission making. Thanks
  3. This is a first look at a new JTAC system coming to DCS world. It was designed to overcome some of the limitations with the In game JTAC.
  4. Here is a first look at the JTAC system featured in the campaign. It has been designed to overcome some of the limitations of the JTAC included with DCS. In this video, I demonstrate CAS from a known I.P, however it can also do KEYHOLE CAS. You will notice theirs an image that appears on the RH side of the screen. This is a prompt for the voice command options available. I use VoiceAttack to interact with the JTAC to keep my hands on the HOTAS and not have to click through F-10 menus. The prompts can be turned off if preferred.
  5. Thanks for the Heads up @Zabuzard I was amazed at what Jester was capable of doing in the F-14. I'm really looking forward to seeing what can be done with the new API.
  6. I have a mission for the F-14 that uses the X: SET COMMAND WITH VALUE function to have JESTER navigate around the map. I am wondering if their are similar functions for Jester in the F-4. I have read through the DCS modding chapter in the manual. The lua commands sound very interesting and I plan to explore it further. But that will take some time to learn and experiment with. Just wondering if the X: SET COMMAND WITH VALUE functions are, or will be implemented. Many thanks Jester Commands.txt
  7. The ATC is built into a Dynamic Campaign that ties together a number of different projects. Its Called USAF Weapons School. I try and think of it more as a tech demo than a campaign. I still need to make demonstration videos for some of the other Projects. Some of the other systems include: RangeControl/Awacs Showtime - manages Adversary aircraft and a2a engagements AI_Wingman - New AI wingmen. By far the most complex system in the campaign. AI_Jtac - replaces the in game Jtac and adds a lot more functionality. Simulated HAVEQUICK system - Secure comms To record in VR I set the DCS system resolution to 2560 x 1440 and then used OBS to record the DCS mirror.

Starting with The Dynamic ATC, I have started a series of demonstration videos that outline the features and how to interact with them. Again, think of this as more of a Tech demo than a campaign.

  14. I'm relearning the F-14A after having not flown it in years. after several sorties I started questioning the accuracy of the gun sight. I have attached a tacview file of a 1.v.2 against a pair of F-4's. The first one I was able to kill easily with a couple of snap shots. I ended up in a turning fight with the second one and all the rounds fell short. I would love to know if this is a characteristic or a bug.   15. Dynamic ATC -- Dynamic ATC for Nellis AFB. No pre scripted responses for Ground, Tower, Departure, NATCF. AI_Wingman -- Completely new AI wingmen. They do everything the in game wingman does and has a lot more functionality. Interactive Range controller (BLACKJACK) and (SHOWTIME) Simulated HAVEQUICK system. -- simulates a secure comms system for DCS world. New Dynamic JTAC system -- Replaces the in game JTAC (Wags) and Adds more functionality. AFAC and Artillery observation for Helo's. -- Player can interact with AI Aircraft and Artillery battery to direct fires. All the systems are based off of NATOPS manuals and official documentation, it's as authentic I as I can make it for DCS. Plenty more...... As all ways, the Devil is in the details. So far there's over 2000 sound files and many, many thousands of lines of code. So far I have added the F/A-18C, F-16C & AV8B. I'm relearning the F-14 to see if Jester will interact with the JTAC. Think of it more as a tech demo than a campaign.

  20. This is an odd problem that has been happening for a while. Flying in vr, if I Alt-tab back to the desktop. then back to DCS, I loose controller inputs in the sim. everything is still working normally, its like the input commands are not being sent to the correct application. Its been an issue for me for at least a couple of years, I just avoid changing windows when flying VR. Just wondering if anyone else has experienced this and if there are any possible solutions. This is not module or terrain specific. on the log provided. it was a free flight on kola with no other units, scripts etc. I lost all buttons on hotas controls, axis commands working ok. voice attack commands not working, keyboard inputs not working. Fresh DCS install, no mods, lots of winwing controllers, voice attack, Pimax crystal. dcs.log
  21. Hello. I have made an AI JTAC using Lua scripts. It all works great and adds a lot of functionality over the in game JTAC(Wags). I am trying to get targets loaded into the CAS page with as much automation as possible. The JTAC creates a mark point on the F-10 Map named "#TP1" but this cannot be loaded into the CAS page. if the player creates a mark point on the F-10 Map named "#TP1", this can be loaded into the CAS page. Just wondering if it is possible to load a mark point added via scripts?

I have updated it for compatibility with DCS 2.9 https://www.digitalcombatsimulator.com/en/files/3313504/ Unzip the folder and add it to USERNAME\SavedGames\DCS World\Missions\Campaigns. It will then be available in the campaigns list under MyCampaigns
  25. Deleted App data folder and ran the same mission 3 times. On each attempt, certain controls became unresponsive. This is not as dramatic as falling through the floor but does illustrate the desync issue. As an example, the APU switch became unresponsive to mouse clicks and key bindings. The switch animation did not occur but the Click noise from the switch could be heard. on 2 out of 3 attempts, I lost all axis commands, so L&R throttles and stick would not respond in the sim. I opened the Controls menu, and all Axis commands registered normally in the controls menu. I replayed all 3 tracks and the desync does not occur in the tracks. I honestly would not bother pursuing this, but its been going on for over 2 years and would be good to nail down what's going wrong. Next, I will record the flight on OBS so you can see what's happening as it doesn't seem apparent in the track files. Track 1.trk Track 2.trk Track 3.trk
