  1. Have you tried releasing your wheel brakes before reving up to start moving ?
  2. Ok, my bad. I didn’t see this topic in the ‘bugs’ section.
  3. Taking flak over Calais (Operation Slingshot) both my Wingman and my own Mossie ended up looking like Swiss cheese, with extra holes (and then some). I appreciate that the DM model is still being worked on, so just thought I would add my tuppence worth. In my opinion, the flak has an exaggerated effect on the visual damage model.
  4. While I fully concede that it might be symptomatic of low frame rates (40’ish) I do find the pitch trim to be very sensitive. Even with flattening out the axis, it still seems to be a constant struggle of too much or too little, with the point of trim seemingly balanced on a knife edge. Without being able to “feel” what the aircraft is doing it makes it very difficult to carry out cockpit tasks without finding the aircraft doing something not to my liking when looking up and out of the window again.
  5. Playing Operation Slingshot, My A.I wingman lost both his engines due to Archie (No, not the pilot assistant). I'm sure he then radioed to say he was bailing out, over Calais, but, several minutes later, with me having made it back across the Channel, crash landed, and then spending a few minutes observing the FW 190, ESCORT, the Boston/Havoc's (?) back across the Channel to dear Ol Blighty (live and let live seemed to be the motto for the day), my attention turned to the my beaten up A.I wingman, crew still ensconsed, propellers stopped and feathered, streaming smoke, flying forever circles, just south of Calais. I continued to watch him for several minutes before finally getting bored and ending the game.
  6. Yeh, they’ve done a really good “soundy likey”, but in some ways that just makes it worse, because it just reminds you of the real 633 music.
  7. Nav light, or at least the starboard one, still in position after starboard wing end is broken off. Rear fuselage and tail still attached, undamaged, and where it should be, but a damaged tail section is lying on ground several yards away. My fault, I crashed into a hedge at the side of the runway, which, given that it was probably the biggest runway in the world, suggests that a Navalized Mossie is probably not for me.
  8. Yesssss, buuuuuuutttttt, 633 would be icing (and not on the wings). Sometimes erstaz just doesn't hit the spot.
  9. Anyone done, or working on a music mod, 633 SQN yet ? I appreciate why the Developers can't do it, but it is sort of essential.
  10. He's the back seat driver and Gunna. "Gunna move your arse, or he's gunna get us" "Gunna go home now ?" "Are yo gunna go around again, you mad b'stard ?" .... and lots of other similar, helpful, suggestions to the fella in the front, fiddling with the stick between his legs.
  11. I think I've mucked up my DCS installation, and have tried various "Repair", driver solutions etc, but have a show stopping momentary pause every 4-5 seconds that I can't seem to get rid of. My internet connection is woefully slow, so downloading and re-installing DCS world AND all the modules will/would take several days, is it possible to save the modules on my computer and then re-insert them into the base game without having to re-download them ?
  12. Do I just have to accept it being as clear as mud outside the cockpit ? I'm running a G2 witha reasonably powerful computer ( I'm starting to think that it might be cheaper just to take up real flying) but can't justify the price of a 3080 so will have to make do with my 2070 super for the time being. Try as I might I just can't get a sharp, or even semi sharp, image outside the cockpit. I can't say I either noticed, or was bothered by, this when using my old Oculus Rift, but the contrast between good sharp cockpit visuals and blurry outside the canopy is rather jarring. Is it just the nature of the beast at the moment ? The only references I've come across with regard to this, so far, are all in relation to MSFS 2020. Is it just, what it is, or is there something fundimental that I'm maybe missing out on ? Ansiotropic filtering, which I think is the normal answer, seems to have no disernable effect or difference, regardless of whether set to 8, 16, or off.
