  1. Nobody read the patch notes then? "SA342 Known issues and work in progress Auto-hover (CVS and ALV modes) are work in progress and may not function reliably yet"
  2. I ran into this issue last night whilst testing out where CA is at. When I'm the Game Master or Tactical Commander I was able to create targets and have some SPG (M109's) but only within a narrow arc directly north of them. It did feel like LOS was key there, but I'll need to check more thoroughly. I then tried assigning targets whilst I was flying a helicopter. Whilst I could move units around I couldn't get them to fire on the targets I assigned. Even the ones I could repeatedly successfully assign previously as a GM or TC.
  3. Why do you still visit the PC subforums if you're not interested in their products? All you do is come here to badmouth the company.
  4. Not sure if I've missed this in a previous patch, but there's now an option to remove the engine exhaust IR covers from the communications menu.
  5. Same issue MP on Rotorheads server. Will not fire second missile even though Petro states he is engaging, even says missile away.
  6. I'm hoping this delay is signaling them getting more advanced AI features finalised rather than pure voice acting issues. It would make sense that they'd pull in the voice actor when there's a well established "final" set of voice parts rather than keep getting the guy back as development moves and changes. It might suggest they were waiting on the new AI IFF or possibly even more advanced AI features such as calling out targets or missile launches.
  7. That was it! I thought'd it be something I was missing. I also seem to be forgetting to hit enter after Altitude entry stage too. I'll chalk that one up to Covid
  8. I'm not sure if I'm just doing something wrong or if there's a bug (I can't see anything reported for this). But I'm finding that sometimes that my TSD point entries that I enter are not showing on the map display. In my last mission I could see WP's my Airfield marker and my BP's, but things like enemy formations and SAMs won't appear. This is on both the NAV and ATK screens and I've gone into each pages "SHOW" options and turned everything on. I've also checked MGRS coordinates matched (I can see the points in the list of targets) and they're not misentered and off map. Anyone else having a similar issue or am I just being a dumb dumb and missing something?
  9. Ebay has some stuff you may find useful. https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/184721100662?_trkparms=amclksrc%3DITM%26aid%3D111001%26algo%3DREC.SEED%26ao%3D1%26asc%3D20160908105057%26meid%3De4872f888b7d47a28df1c5cf9669a5e9%26pid%3D100675%26rk%3D3%26rkt%3D15%26sd%3D294133186500%26itm%3D184721100662%26pmt%3D0%26noa%3D1%26pg%3D2380057&_trksid=p2380057.c100675.m4236&_trkparms=pageci%3Adb956d06-82bf-11ec-8056-7e7796060e9b|parentrq%3Ab14cccfc17e0ab9e6407054ffff59b95|iid%3A1
  10. What does Windows 10 identify the keyboard as? If it's a regular keyboard then you should be able to bind it as a standard keyboard in DCS. However my gut feeling says you've connected it to a USB to serial cable which is used for serial communications? That won't work unless you have software that understands whatever protocol the keyboard is using to communicate, and I doubt they have that for Windows 10. It's actually pretty straight forward to get it to work, but requires a reasonably advanced and established skillset.
  11. I like this. Seems like a quick and dirty way of adding a weapon control station for a Gazelle or Hind gunners station.
  12. I'm not sure I even want it fixed now. It's become part of the KA-50's quirky personality.
  13. Does it really need a track? It's very easy to repeat as it drifts off very quickly. The Backup ADI has been pretty much useless for years now and is fairly well known by anyone who's flown the Black Shark for a while.
  14. This is how it is with most RWR. They're passive sensors that reads direction and signal strength, which doesn't necessarily equate to range. Some RWR's will show high threats as closer to the center, but this is for threat level and not range. To get what you're after, the RWR is just one tool in your overall situational awareness. You'll need to learn the capabilities of the Radars you're seeing. Understand the terrain along the bearing to the transmitter. Use briefings and other intel about known sites.
