Thanks for the reply. I've added exclusions. I did full repair earlier and it didn't help. The hang happens on other modules too, not just the Heatblur. I just tested those two for the logs since especially F-4E hangs. Another is Av-8b. Hornet works sometimes.

Something very bizarre is happening. I decided to try with custom page file so set it to 32768 and reboot. Tried dcs again, with my orion 2 hotas and got pretty much all of my modules to load to tarmac, Av-8b, F-14, F-4, F-18, F-16, M2000, Mig-21 and F-5. They all loaded just fine. I thought I cracked it. But, then decided to exit the game, unplug the hotas and restarted dcs and set F-16 on park and stuck again on "spawn objects". This is driving me nuts.

Default 4068. I have 64gb of ddr4 3200mhz

Tried once again with fxo and metashaders folders deleted. Selected F-4E and it hanged like usual on spawning objects dcs.log Tried second time with F-14A, same result. dcs-2.log

Yeah, desperate measures etc. I'm so pissed about this issue since it came out of nowhere and I haven't changed anything. Whether is dcs update or windows.

Tried slow repair too and deleted excess files. I didn't try to rename it, I deleted the whole folder. Yes I kill it from the task manager. I'll check it tomorrow and post the log when it hangs.

Tried that before the reinstall, no difference. And by dcs.log do you mean that single file or the packed one?

Did you @ebabil finally fixed this? I updated the latest patch today and the problem is still there. Rarely loading moves past the "spawning objects" and the game just hangs. Did whole new reinstall by first deleting all the dcs related folders, then downloaded it to new folder, no mods installed, patched it today and still the same issue.

All the Tupolev bombers and Mig-23, 25 and 27 should ALL get proper modern treatment. They look just awful. Can't be that much of long process.

Now it doesn't work at all anymore. Deleted dcs.openbeta folder from the Temp folder etc. Just hangs on spawning objects. Deleted all the logbooks and input folders too. Nvidia caches also. Every time when set as a player in the editor, the game hangs, doesn't crash but just hangs.

I'm having the same issue. Sometimes it helps to alt+tab to taskmanager and then back to game and it starts to load the rest of the mission. However it doesn't work everytime, especially F-4E just hangs. I tried deleting all the old .diff files and no joy. edit. Tried even without controllers installed and same thing happens, especially on F-4, F-16 and F-5. Jumping to taskmanager and little wait usually works.

You mean the black menu screen? I have that.

Just fix the core game so that it doesn't leak memory. Vram and ram consumption is insane compared to other simulators. Then maybe better weather effects and proper atc.

There isn't suppose to be new audio for the F-5.

I appreciate the twisted humor of the developers but this rusted barrel monster is hardly the memorial Draken that it should be in EFKT Kittilä.

Cool, just by disabling the remastered. I can fly the older version again.

Is it possible to get a refund on the remastered version? I'd like to go back to previous version and fly with old liveries.

Apparently they messed these up once again.

When adding sortie name, situation or tasks etc to briefing, only the added images stay when the mission is saved. All the typed text just disappears

Same happens randomly here. Tried repair, no joy.

Does anyone actually prefer Jester 2.0 over the Tomcats version? I find this 2.0 very clumsy and worse and its predecessor.
