  1. I have (had possibly?) this exact combo; i7-8700k with a 1080ti that was running great. Ended up getting a deal on a 3080Ti awhile back and put that in; I was running just fine with my Rift S or flatscreen. Just tonight my primary NVMe drive just bit the dust…I’d added a second NVMe and a few spinning drives, but I think I’m finally using this as an excuse to do everything.
  2. Ok resurrecting a dead (kinda?) thread but I'm a dummy - however if I'm a little confused I'm sure others are in the same boat. First off Toni, this profile is ridiculously awesome - I've been a DCS user since day 1 - yep back in the lomac days all that stuff...nevermind falcon 4, falcon MC (mac color for those that don't remember) - I digress separate discussion topics for sure. I recently got back into flying the hornet after spending time in the Viper, and Apache...with all that said.. What are the correct apps needed to get the Streamdeck profile working? DCS-BIOS appears to have forked, and I *think* I should be using the non-hub version here - https://github.com/DCSFlightpanels/dcs-bios/releases So install DCS BIOS at link above, then follow the install instructions for the DCS Export Scripts here - https://github.com/asherao/DCS-ExportScripts Then it should be a matter of using ctyler's streamdeck app plus this hornet profile and wala, right? links are https://github.com/enertial/streamdeck-dcs-interface here and the install video here - Am I missing something? I've tried to get this running (I think I was using the DCS-BIOS 'hub' version here https://dcs-bios.readthedocs.io/en/latest/installation.html which i think may be causing some of my challenges?) Thanks everyone!!
  3. Hopefully makes sense in the title - I searched in the forums and couldn't find an already reported bug. Shot a tank with a hellfire and killed it; the tank was on fire visibly and when in FLIR mode on, however did not show on fire while viewing via TV. I unfortunately lost the track, will try to duplicate it soon. I posted a screen recording I had running at the time -
  4. It’s game mode in your general settings - had this exact same problem on my son’s setup. In the main DCS options/settings turn off game avionics and game flight and that fixed it!
  5. @ctytler - That sir worked!! Thank you!! Now I have to figure out all this button configuring!!! BUTTT - still thank you for your time and effort on building this!!!
  6. @ctytler - just adding more info for you in case it helps. I downloaded the new stream deck plugin you created, uninstalled the old one, installed the new one, and restarted the app. I put the DCS-BIOS button on my streamdeck screen, clicked on "Configure" and see "No Modules found". I click setup and it shows the install directory for DCS-BIOS is "C:\Users\username\Saved Games\DCS.openbeta\Scripts\DCS-BIOS". (It actually keeps defaulting to "username" instead of my actual computer username). I've changed this to the correct directory several times, hit update and then save and close, but whenever I come back it goes back to the default "username" versus my actual computer name. My com.ctytler.dcs0 streamdeck log only shows: 08:26:16.890 Successfully connected to Simulator Interface UDP port Also side note, my install directory for my DCS Open beta build is my "D:\DCS World OpenBeta", but scripts are located "C:\Users\autom\Saved Games\DCS.openbeta\Scripts\DCS-BIOS" Hopefully that helps, but if you need more info - let me know!
  7. Ok - now I'm stuck. I've completely uninstalled DCS-BIOS v0.10.0. I've gone to the DCSFlightpanels version of dcs-bios and followed the install wiki including copy/pasting scripts into Script folder and modifying the Export.lua... I have all of the JSON files located in C:\Users\xxxx\Saved Games\DCS.openbeta\Scripts\DCS-BIOS\doc\json. I uninstalled the DCS Interface from the stream deck, re-installed it. When I edit the DCS-BIOS Button, click on Setup, I've updated the install directory to C:\Users\xxxx\Saved Games\DCS.openbeta\Scripts\DCS-BIOS and am still getting "No Modules found" I checked in the stream deck logs for the com.ctytler.dcs most recent log #2 and the only thing I see is: 13:44:49.848 Successfully connected to Simulator Interface UDP port However, there is log #0 for stream deck and I see this: 11:33:40.678 Get Installed Modules Failure: DCS Install path [C:\Program Files\Eagle Dynamics\DCS World/mods/aircraft/] not found. However, the time that log file was modified last, is way before me reinstalling the stream deck DCS Interface That is most definitely not my install directory for my Open beta DCS install, but I don't see anywhere to edit that?
  8. Ok more details as I continue to dig...I've found the plugins! (I think - C:\Users\Yourusername\AppData\Roaming\DCS-BIOS\Plugins) but in the Setup option for the button I've created in Stream Deck app it still doesnt see the modules? Tried several of the directories in that Roaming path, but nothing working so far... It seems to be a difference in the install path of DCS-BIOS versions; the new version of DCS-BIOS v0.10.0 (https://github.com/dcs-bios/dcs-bios/releases/tag/v0.10.0) versus the old version (DCSFlightpanels link here in ctyler's link in the setup button - https://github.com/DCSFlightpanels/dcs-bios)
  9. I'm sorry - i feel like that's a personal decision or choice on your part for you to be harboring those feelings that you can't watch a video and be content with the excitement of the coming product and feel like it's cruel you can't play whats in the video. You've been on the forums for a week or two - if you've followed DCS for any period of time you'll know it'll be here when it is ready. Just enjoy the hype knowing it IS coming... straight from newsletter... "imminent release" @BIGNEWY - help us out here!! imminent = "about to happen" LOL
  10. Ok - I'm in the same boat... I've successfully installed DCS-BIOS per instructions here - https://dcs-bios.readthedocs.io/en/latest/installation.html and have installed all of the module plugins. My DCS-BIOS dashboard is showing connected and I can confirm if I look at a control reference, say the A-10C Electrical Power Panel and the battery switch, I can toggle the switch in DCS using the toggle button in DCS-BIOS dashboard. However, when I goto the directory ...\Saved Games\DCS.openbeta\Scripts there is no DCS-BIOS folder. Anyone figure this out yet?
  11. I’ve been on this forum for years; since the original KA-50 and largely don’t post much. I’ve bought numerous early access modules and am probably looking forward to the Apache the most (very very close tie between that and the Viper - I played the crap out of Falcon 4). I’m sick and tired of people complaining about dates being pushed. I work in IT (20+ years) and do application production support - I.e application development teams put in $hit code and my teams fix it when it breaks. I’ve never complained about having to wait for a product to be released in early access even after paying for it. I MUCH rather have a bug free (as possible) early access at a discount and get it when it comes out than get a product that is buggy and featureless. As others have said, this is a SUPER niche product with not much financial return and the quality of the product we get is second to none. Just be patient - we all want to fly the Apache, bug free and with features
  12. Ok I think I've found it (and the BDA window key mappings) - LCtrl + LShift + Y - which is supposed to turn off and on, but it only turns it off - then I have to disconnect from server and reconnect to turn it back on. Same with BDA which is RCtrl - ' if anyone is also looking!
  13. I'm sure its a simple find, but how do you turn off the server log on the left hand side of the view in the F1 Cockpit of the client?
  14. Just ordered two, one for my son and I - can’t wait to get them! Price is well worth it in my opinion versus me having to take the time to craft these up DIY when we could be flying together.
