I understand that the A model Phoenixes needed the tunnel pylons to have the coolant needed for the electronics even when mounted on the shoulders.
It was my understanding that the Cs did not need the coolant, and could therefore be mounted on the shoulders without the tunnel rails.
If my understanding is correct, why are we suddenly restricted from having 4/2/2 load outs?
If you try to place C model Phoenixes on the shoulders, you are unable to place anything in the tunnels that would require the removal of the Phoenix pylons.
I tried configuring this on my group's dedicated server. I wanted to set slot 1 to the saved games folder for our server 1 and the second slot to the saved games folder for server 2. The trouble is when the saved games folders are selected, they go back to the default dcs.openbeta which does us no good. Is this broken? Or something coming in the future?
This worked. I have never gone through the button dropdown before to see that there were "JOY_BTN_28_OFF" options before. But it was there, and worked properly. Thanks for the help.
I was wondering if in the joystick abstractions command list we could get an Air to Air Door Slipway Closed else Open binding rather than the Open else Closed. I’d rather the closed be on a constant switch rather than the open.
You have to go into the settings, choose to load profiles manually, and export them. Once that is done, import the airio.vap profile, and import the commands into the VAICOM profile. Then they’ll be there
Or if you go into Saved Games\Dcs.openbeta\Config\Input and copy and paste the F-14B and F-14B_RIO folder and rename them F-14 and F-14_RIO you’ll get your existing mappings back
Took damage as a result of MK82 Airs colliding under the jet. Grabbed a new jet, and the right engine would not start. Including link to track file.
