  1. ITS NEVER OVER!!! Was it over when the Germans bombed Pearl Harbor?? NO!! Its not over till WE say its Over!!!
  2. You sir....are CRUEL!!! Love It!! But damn I want this bird before I die..
  3. Okay, not a noob so we can skip that part...well that is my opinion. I am a RIO and I have everything set for A2G, my controls are good. Everything is good. I can located the target and sometimes I can get the Point Track to lock with the box, then it won't. Same target. I understand the contrast may not be good enough...I put it is AGC usually. I also set it to Manual for the computer. Area Track will work one time, then it wont work again. Sporadic. Once in Area Track, sometimes it loses track with a LM code and it takes Jesus to get it back. Any suggestions or advice? Thanx
  4. Considering your work with MOOSE I figured you GOTTA be the one who might know.

I have asked but have yet to get any answers...

When I put MOOSE into any mission, when I start the mission I get a menu item in the F-10 Other and it has the Pilot game name as the Menu item and when selected has all sorts of selections. (See Pics)

Is this part of MOOSE and how can I disable it?

    Thank You in Advance

  5. Anyone know where I can find this part in the skin. Cannot find it anywhere and it stays when all files are removed.
  6. I know this is F-15C, but the part might be the same...I am looking for this part on the engines...it is not a part I can find. I have removed every file and this part stays constant...code does not help me either...an ideas where to look? Could it be a rollover from the C model? Any help is appreciated
  7. Three questions - 1 - I am trying to view/watch a replay track of a multiplayer mission and I cannot jump from AC to AC using F2 in the mission. Any ideas as to why? 2. Back in the IL2 1946 days, you could put cameras in target areas and jump to them for various views...has DCS done or thinking of doing something like this? 3. There is no way to rewind the track so you don't have to keep restarting it to get the shot? Any advice, insight is appreciated.
  8. I am skinning a Strike Eagle and I have it all done EXCEPT I cannot find the texture for the silver circle on the end of the engines right before the nozzles...can anyone point me in the direction to find these. I have looked through every texture I can find and the code does not tell me anything. The labeling of the images could be better....(opinion)
  9. Its really sad..there is SUCH a big WW2 following that I don't understand why there is not more AC out there. I don't know if DCS is old enought to remember...but "Back in the Day..." there was a game called IL2 - 1946 it was one of the biggest games to fly in. They also had FLYABLE bombers...nothing to crazy..you could fly and switch positions..it was AWESOME!! Servers were packed and we used to do a thing called Bomber Night where the 4 horseman hosted a server and every Friday night it was fighters against the bombers basically. Great fun to be had... So whenever this corsair comes out, make sure there is japanese AC to go against....Betty's, Zero's whatever ya can get. If ya can ..how about a Heinkle ??
  10. Love this campaign..BUT boy its a lot of time in the seat till you get to Mission 13 and 14.... But I thought it was well done, good missions...really gives you an idea of the flying time and the crap they ran into back then. Ground targets are, as always, hard to see sometimes...but that is the challenge....I died 4 times...2 because wingmen are stupid and run into you while trying to land and 1 because I ran out of gas on the downwind... Well worth it to buy if you want some good missions, voiceovers etc. A+++
  11. Well, I have been flying campaigns for a while since it is not online and it can be relaxing...plus with kids, wife, dog..it is easy to pause and go do what you have to do and come back. That being said...I am currently flying the "Blue Nosed Bastards of Bodney" and I must say it is a lot of fun. Tons of detail and the AI is not too uber where you cannot finish the missions. I am currently on mission 9 and I enjoy it alot. One thing though..each mission so far has been about an hour of flying. Start up, take off, cross the channel, fight, fly back land..so be prepared for some time in the seat. I have also finished the "Rise of the Persian Lion" This is one AWESOME campaign. I highly recommend it if you want to learn the F-18 systems better. Each mission seems to incorporate something new so I would review a training film prior to flying and it really helped me in the F-18. Very well made in my opinion and a must have. On that note..for those Rotorheads (I'm one of them..) The Argo Campaign is phenomenal!! Talk about some flying...whew...again..long missions and landing on the boats is always fun. One mission where you have to rescue guys off a burning sub was kewl! If you want some good missions without being in a server...this is one of them. The Mi-8MTV2 Oilfield Campaign I have not been flying for a while as there was some glitches in the campaign that have since been fixed, but again...some long missions and some interesting scenarios.
  12. I took the original textures out of the ordinance folder and made new ones and put them into the aircraft folder, this way the aircraft files/textures are all self contained, modified the lua and all was good... I had to search for certain AC components like the BRU, Lantirn pylon etc so skin them for the AC...found them and I copied the textures as they were labeled in the ordinance folder.. ALL TEXTURES WORKED except this one. That was my conundrum....I could not figure out why or find the proper syntax or file that explained why it worked for everything else but this one file. When you showed me your file name, I changed the original file name to -32 in the ordinance folder and in the lua file and it worked fine. I understand all you said... I did not overwrite any file in the ordinance folder except for testing purposes. The filename in my ordinance folder was _32 NOT -32. I copied and pasted the files to alter the skin..I keep the same names. Hence why I was frustrated. It is just odd that the file name, regardless of being the same in the lua code as in the ordinance folder with a false statement would not pull my skin. It had to have the -32.... Thanx for checking on your files and that is something I always find useful when trying to fix things. S!! Elwood
  13. OKAYYYYYY!!! Changed the ORIGINAL file in the ordinance folder to -34 instead of _34 and THAT was it....Why....I don't know why it works now when before when I named MY file the same name it worked..but globally...but with the -34 it now lets the lua decide...WOW...I hate code.....LOL Thanx for the tips and hints guys! Elwood
  14. Hmmm..Mine is HB_F14_EXT_BRU_34.....the rest is the same...in the Ordinance folder it is the same as what I typed....I will change it and see if is a syntax issue..been looking at the loa code till my eyes crossed....and it is funny..ALL the other textures in the ordinance file work fine EXCEPT THIS ONE!!! AAAHHHHH!! {"HB_F14_EXT_BRU_34", 0 ,"WP_F14_EXT_BRU_34",false}; Going to rename the Ordinance to your HB....-34..see if it works...then try a few other things.... It is my Bru 34 file...the 42 works fine. Thanks for any and all input/help..will post what I find out for future references Elwood
