    Hi everyone.

    1) Some time when I just started a mission from the ramp cold and dark, turn on the battery and then the horn swith, most of the time the alarm in not audible.

    2) How can I lower the TACAN volume?, I turned the volume knob all the way to the left and nothing.

    3) How can I reset the giro alignement?, my hud and sperical horizont was not aligned (I was playing with the electrical switch).

    Dear.
    I migrated to a 5950x (4.9) , mother x570, m2 Evo 970 plus, 6900xt OC, 32Gb 3200mHz, Ho reverb, corsairHX1000.
    With the recommended vr seeing from DCS I only got 39-49 fps and with almost maxed out 23 fps.

    Why I can’t see an upgrade in fps? With my old 1080ti and i7 I almost for the same result. Thank you.

    Hi guys. I’m needing a hand here.

    I’m having to the following issue, flood light in the cockpit are only rendered in the right eye in the UH-1, Harrier, etc. Also the instruments and panel lights jumps from zero to 100% when I move the knobs just a pixel.

    Any thoughts?

    I don’t want to uninstall everything and install again, my connection is not good, it will take almost two days.

     

    I have an HP Reverb, 1080ti, 32Gb ram, M2 SSD and an I7 processor.

    Advice on controlling the jet in VTOL

    Hi, just learning the jet, managing STOL ok, but struggling with VTOL and the hover.......why for example does the jet go backwards and is there a good guide or tips video about learning how to do this? Or am I doomed to continue racking up deaths in my logbook!!!!!!

    There are four potential reasons:

     

    - poor lighting, add more light

    - flat environment, add contrasting colour

    - changed lighting or environment, reset the boundary in wmr

    - not correctly 'zeroing' the headset, put it on and do the moves before you launch the game

     

    It could be hardware failure, but, thays very unlikely

    Hi. Can anyone help me? I have a reverb and sometimes I can’t move the head side to side or back to front, the reverb loose those axis, any thought?

    Maverick F not exiting from standby

    Hi guys. I’m using the harrier today and after the gyros speeding up I was able to fire the four missile in the 59th practice range and then landed the plane, rearmed with four F Mavericks again, and I took off again.

     

    I Started the gyros alignment again without switching to another weapon and after 6 minutes the STBY sign was still there, jettisoned, landed, rearmed with F and took off again and the same problem was present.

     

    Any thoughts?

    Get mud means get locked up and/or fired at by a SAM. TL;DR Pullback mode allows you to quickly select the HARM automatically if a SAM is on you. If you enable HARM Override, it will completely select the HARM and assuming A/G interlocks are met you can press the pickle button and off it goes; everything else is done automatically. Basically "oh shit" mode.

    There is a DCS engine hardcoded limit on laser designation distance which is about 8nm. Think of the laser as a 8nm long stick, emitting from your TPOD. If your slant range is above that distance, the laser "spot" ends up in the air, making targeting go weird. So to get proper laser targeting results, always lase when within 8nm from your target.

    Hi guys. Just few days ago I was tagging some target with the laser and a friend dropes some GBU but he was unable to achieve a proper detection until my radius of flight was less than 9 miles from the target.

     

    If I was far than 9 miles with the TPOD, the DMT of his plane detect my laser reflection in the ground but this point was not fixed and was moving to anywhere.

     

    We changed roles later and the same result with my DMT.

     

    Any thoughts?

    Very nice work.

    What dampers did you use? Are they expensive? (I want one for a heli colective...)

     

     

     

    I used “new and used” Honeywell SPST switches, I bought those on eBay but there is a lot of other brands and cheaper options.

    Buildings draw distance too close?

    Hi, the same happen in the Caucasus, the buildings and trees start to grow in front of you, I have the visibility almost to the max. I use an Hp reverb.
