I hAve the same problema with f18 last week on catapult + whell chocks.

Just for the record: After 2 months studying different hypotheses for this sudden drop in performance, I came to the conclusion that after the updates made in the first months of 2023, the DCS started to consume more ram memory, as my pc has only 16GB the limit has arrived, it was to be expected that with the evolution of the game this would happen, but I am at the limit of my motherboard and with no chance of a general equipment upgrade at the moment (I live in Brazil, here the dollar is multiplied by 5.3 in our currency plus the tax that the leftist government imposes on us). I was even waiting for the F14 promotion to buy it, but I declined any new purchases at DCS until I get a memory upgrade or the game goes through some update that optimizes performance and returns to how it was a few months ago. Is only in ST mode, the MT i have abandoned in the begining with same problems. I am testing any configurations down, but the freezing continues in any ocasions. Tks for all, let's talking about this issues and waiting the ED solutions. Regards from Brazil.

I am brazilian and the server is France, the PING is always 200ms freezing or no. The second factor really is curious, i will analyze better. Tks.

Yes, but this configurations always play with 50-60fps before the last updates...

In my case there is nothing that can definitively solve it, I'm on the verge of abandoning DCS. dcs.log

New errors after the last update, if anyone can help by analyzing the LOG, the corrections made in the multiplayer mode solved the freezes for a week but now they are back... I'm starting to get discouraged from DCS after so much money invested in maps and mods dcs.log

I lost with version 2.8 between 10% to 20% of performance too... For me it's even more critical since I only have 16gb of ram. Hoping for improvements by the development team that until today has never left us unanswered.

I made the suggested changes and didn't notice any improvements, honestly I even thought that the crashes took longer... follow the LOG. Perhaps the game's lack of Vsync took away the smoothness.... dcs.log

There was really a significant improvement when disabling win10's full screen optimization, but with a full server (96 players) I still had some freezes, follow the LOG for analysis, thanks for any help guys! dcs.log

This is actually another error that started yesterday but it really seems to have been resolved today. The problem I'm referring to is small freezes/crashes, after disabling the fullscreen optimization it seemed to me that it solved it, I'm still monitoring it. Another thing I did was simply take down everything that had firewall and ransonware protection on my windows 10. If it actually resolved and it doesn't happen again in the next few days, I'll get back to you and close the topic, thank you.

Someone with more experience could look into my diagnostics, I've been having major issues with the game freezing every 7-10 seconds, it's impossible to play mostly online. My last alternative was to disable windows fullscreen optimization, maybe it solved it, I'm waiting tomorrow to try to play on the overlord server TKS dcs.log DxDiag.txt

I believe that the automatic function of the radiators never worked on the P51, just observe in the external view that it doesn't matter the temperature of the marker, they never move when the selector is in AUTO...

Yes, my operation is the same, AUTO for normal operations (2400rpm and <40lb boost). And when more power open the coolers. Same to me, is overheating with standard operation (2400rpm <40lb), need speed over 250mph to cooling.
