  1. Hi, I have watched Waggs's video on the laser rockets and am able to hit my first target just fine. But subsequent shots don't track the laser. Here's my process.... First Target: TGP SOI - default laser code for both pod and weapons. Slew cursor over a vehicle. Point Track within 5nm fire the laser (latched) 4.5nm fire a pair of rockets. Short time late - BOOM! Dead vehicle. Laser off. Second Target: Come around for another pass. Slew cursor over a second vehicle. Point track Within 5nm, laser on (latched). Short time later, fire a pair off rockets. Rockets disappear off basically straight ahead and never guide on my laser. Third Target, fourth target same as second. Any ideas?
  2. Thanks guys, Yeah had already tried the shaders thing. Found the folder that contained that missing file, deleted it, then repaired. All good.
  3. Hi There, Thanks for the quick reply. Have tried repair. NVIDIA dirvers updated to 452.06 Log attached. dcs.log
  4. Hi, Not sure if this is the right place to post this but can anyone shed some light on why my trees would look like they do in the attached image?
  5. Hi All, Been brushing up on my BVR tactics and I'm going ok with the Crank-Right, Crank-Centre-Fire, Crank-Left and repeat method for getting a shot off at 14is miles and another at a nice lethal 7-8nm against AI but what I really srtuggle with is finding, locking and firing the 3rd and 4th shot against that pesky second MiG that's either bearing down on me or my wingman. Does anyone have any advice as to what modes to select to get a lock on that second guy, especially after you go defensive and recommit to the fight? I am familiar with the ACM radar modes but my understanding is they only work out to 10nm. This makes it a bit hard when you have that 2nd 29S shooting R-77s at you from 12nm and you need to visually acquire, turn hot, lock, fire and defend all in pretty quick succession.
  6. Checkout Growling Sidewinder's YouTube Videos on the subject, they are excellent for beginners.
  7. Anyone else still have a buggy radar elevation? Takeoff Master Arm to On A/A master mode Select AMRAAMs Move TDC around the B-Scope and the elevation numbers show something like 90-99 and don't change. Using Radar Elevation controls to tilt the antenna does nothing. The radar elevation carat on the left edge of the scope is pegged at the top (only moves slightly when the sweep bar changes). Trying to find reference to it as there was a bug report before the latest patch but in my experience it's even worse now as the "fixed" radar antenna points to a uselss altitude. Yet I haven't seen anyone reporting this specifica issue.
  8. Hi All, I have a group of Harriers departing Kasab. The group taxis on time but for some stupid reason the lead Harries decides it needs to backtrack (It's a VTOL aircraft FFS!) and subsequent aircraft in the flight get stuck waiting for him to get out of the way. The only way I can get them to takeoff SOME of the time is to have the set to Takeoff from runway but that's a bit problematic as I also have client aircraft departing this airfield and they may have a Harrier pop-up in front of them on their takeoff roll. Is there any way to get these guys to behave like normal people? In the attached screenshot, the lead aircraft has done a full backtrack and positioned ready for takeoff bu the others just sit there and look at him.
