  1. Hello For my group and mehave been exrpeicnes hard difficultis trying to takeoff with crosswind. F-16CM manual state that on a dry runway RCR=23, the F-16CM could take off with a max crosswind component of 25 kts. For us this is impossible to do this and keep a safe takeoff rolling over the runway. Is this an issued? I read It was reported last year, but... Thnaks Salute Gavilan
  2. Ups... ok. Thanks for your answer. Will be waiting for the fix. Thanks Gavilan
  3. Hi DArt I have installed LotATC 2.0.03 server only, and It doesn't work. Configurator shows a red light and a warning message: Status Error. LotATC is badly installed (step 1/5) I used the installer program for deploy it, no changes made from me. How should I fix this? Thanks
  4. Hi Is it possible to export NS440 directly with viewport? Thanks
  5. And is ti possible to move the shaker from the rudder to the stick in order to get this feedback in the FFB joystick?
  6. Vibora. Is it possible to move the shaker from rudder (I don't know if exist a rudder pedals with shaker) to the stick? Do you have some FFB setting and axis tunning for a forcefeeback joystick like MS Sidewinder II? Thanks again
  7. Thanks Vibora. We are using those setting and they work very well. I'm curious about the last update in wich pitch stability will be improved. Love this module, one of the best! Salute Gavilan
  8. Great news!!! Thanks a lot for this effort. Salute Gavilan
  9. Hello Can someone please give me some updates related to this? Thanks.
  10. Hi Vibora A group of friend and me have decide to star flying this beautiful bird with our squad as the initial phase of a virtual pilot career, but we call it A-36 Halcon, or Gallina (we are Chilean pilots). So far so good, but I have a question. Is it normal the boucing on the nose of the aircraft? After a couple of hours of flying finally I could manage it with smooth moving on the stick and use of trim. Maybe it could be due to we are used to fly F-16 and its FLCS makes easy to maintain a desired attitude. Our next step is us its multicrew capabilities in order to train our less experienced pilots. I know this is on WIP, so a bug list with some basis updating frequency could be great to track this. If you could publish and consolidate this list will be great for us. Thansk for this great bird!. Salute.
  11. Thanks Bignew Great to know you have this thing and is an actual and reported issue Salute Gavilan
  12. Hello Last night a group of friend and me tried to fly on TF-51. I created a mission from scratch and added only one group of 4xTf-51. I checked that players and client was assigned to each acfr of the flight. This flight was also set to take off from the runway. Once the server up, we tried to get on the acfr but the entire flight started on the ramp with engines running. only 2 of them could actually be taken by players. One of then was taken by IA and took off, and the other one was keeped on the ramp with its engine running, but It could be taken by anyone. This is very strange..... I was showing DCS to a new pilot and this crashed our flight time. This is first time I have this issue. I’m not a master on mission creation but I know he basic If someone have some idea about why this is happening, I will be very gratefull Salute
  13. Hi Micha Is ti possible to use Ikarus with F-16C? I have made a little reseatch here but I have nothing. Thanks for your help Best regards Gavilan

  15. Hi You have to install the TM Cougar HOTAS drivers on each PC / Laptop you use for flightsim.
  16. Hi I am new to Cougar world too, and had a lot of issues with that on Win10. I suggest you to check your calibration on the Cougar Control Panel. Check your axis traveling and center position on auto calibration. If auto calibration is not working well, switch to manua calibration. After that, try your cougar "clean" on DCS... I mean don't load a TARGET profile at all. If your Cougar is working fine (axis & buttons), It could be the right time to go with TARGET. ps: I am not using TARGET on my Cougar. Salute Gavilan
  17. Hello all I did some work last weekend and have news. I picked up an old HD and I made a fresh Win10 install. After that, the first (and only one) thing I installed was TM Cougar HOTAS drivers (64 for Vista), and have the same results: It wasn't detected by Windows. But... I decided to disconnect all my USB devices and start to test on different USB ports, and guess what: One port detected my Cougar at the first try, and after that everything went perfect! I switched to my official SSD with Windows 10 and other stuff, and my Cougar worked well. No issues with manual calibration.... It seems that USB port is critical on this. Hope to keep my Cougar working for a while. Salute Gavilan
  18. As I stated in another thread, for those pilots with troubles on AoA -Speed - Attitud during approach, I highly recommend to spend time flying your Tiger on landing configuration. Fly it like a cessna. Learn to fly it on "slow flight". Find the pitch/yoke back and throttle combitaion for the weight you have in that moment in order to keep flying at 200 Kias. Once you feel confortable flying in that condition, fly a traffic pattern and enter into downwind in "slow flight" configuration at 200 Kias. Turn into final with 200 Kias and reduce your throttle a bit in order to lose altitude. Use your speed brakes to slow down to touchdown speed. Once you feel confortable and you are ready to land, cut the throttle and maintain your pitch with a bit more of yoke back. Using speed brakes insted of reducing throttle is a good way to avoid lossing engine power when you probabily need it, ie: during bombing dive or landing, when you don't have enough time to wait for your turbojet to get it hight performance for a recovery or a missed approach. 19. I have flown F-5E with 3 different joystick: X-52, FFB Sidewinder (moded) and TM Cougar HOTAS In the country where I live, we have slang to refer the way you are feeling your aircraft, and it's very easy to understand this feeling in some maneuvers like takeoff and landing: ass-gauge! With the X-52 I have experienced the lowest ass-gauge. I has been virtually impossible for me to keep the nose up after touchdown. With the Cougar I have been able to touchdown and roll with nose up for a couple of seconds. With my moded FBB Sidewinder.... a joy to fly! you can almost feel you aircraft. Same results on F-14, BF-109, C-101. With this joystick I have gotten the best results on landing and rolling out with nose gear up... and of course performing other maneouvers too. If you have the chance to fly with a FFB Sidewinder, give it a try! Salute Gavilan
  20. Hi Rudel A little mistake writing this post. I am using 2007_hco_vista_64_rc1.exe for Win10. I will PM you.... thank again! Salute Gavilan
  21. Hello: I have bought a used TM Cougar HOTAS on eBay. Seller told me that It was in good conditions and stored for years (It was in its original case and bags), so I trusted it should works. Maybe this post will be a little large, but my purpuse is to put in context what I have tryed, and what recipes have worked for me ... for short time sadly. On my first try to get it run, I followed a step by step guide from Rudel (thanks Rudel for your kindly suppor) to get it working on Windows 10 ... but I give up. https://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=181049&highlight=rudel+cougar I read that Win10 and Cougar are not good friends, so I decide to try on my Win7 64 Laptop .... and once again I could get it run. So, I went for an old XP 32 PC, and try all from the begining. Nope ... no success win XP 32 .... very strange ... Following drivers installation instructions (2007_hco_vista_64_rc1.exe for WIN10 and 3_HCO_2004.exe for XP32), I connected my Cougar in the middle of the installing process when promted to do, and the installator finished without erros. After that, I moved the driver file STTubeDevice203.dll [/ B] to Windows \ SystemWOW64, give admin rights to Cougar's Control Panels and other .exe on HOTAS folder (in case that its program run over secured users and system folders ) and at the end, I run Cougars Control Panel and get that f..ing errror: Device Detection Error - E2: Ensure that the device is connected and worked properly. [/ B] Some times it gives me another one telling me that firmware is bad and have to be applied to the joystick. So, I disconenct my Cougar and reconnect it with trigger button deppresed .... sometimes I get an error message from windonws teeling me that USB device not detected, and sometimes not. Once detected, I run Cougars Firmware Update and, sometimes got an error telling me that Cougars is not connected, and sometimes the program starts, but It freeze on the first of three step (Press and hold the trigger botton on the dives). Other times the process run very fast and get and error telling me that I didn't press trigger button, but firmware ware downloed to the joysitck ... but It is not true: my Cougar is still a metal trash. Once, I was able to donwload the firmware to my Cougar using my laptop with Win7x64 following a step by step process described by CubPilot: Open Foxy, goto "Cougar / HOTAS Cleanse / Erase Polling Registery Entry". If this registry setting has a flag set it will not allow communication with the Cougar. I would also use "Erase Windows Calibration" also, just for the hell of it. Then: 1. Disconnect the Cougar from the computer. 2. Disconnect the throttle (and rudders if you have them). 3. Reboot the computer. 4. After Windows has finished loading, reconnect the Cougar with the trigger held in for a few seconds while reconnecting it. 5. Flash the firmware with the latest version. [url = "https://simhq.com/forum/ubbthreads.php/topics/3117326/hotas-cougar-not-recognised-help"] https://simhq.com/forum/ubbthreads.php/topics/3117326 / hotas-cougar-not-recognized-help [/ URL] I was really happy !! Then I plugged it into my Win10 PC and voila! It works! Every switch and axis works fine .... well, Antena and ManRange axis where dissaligned and need calibration, so I calibrate my Cougar with Control Panel tool and it works. I was happy for about 2 weeks and now It die again :(. Someday my Cougar was not detected by Windows10. I disconected it and reconnected and it wen to life again. After a couples of days following this workaround, manual calibration gave me a big troubble: every axis started to work in a discontinuous and a coarse way .... hard to explain (as you can guess at this point, english is not my native language). When I move an axis, in some position of axis travel doesn't show any result on Cougar Control Panel viewer. If I try on the sim, it is impossible to fly: all control surface moves on coarse and way skipping some position of its travel. So I decided to take the risk an reset my Cougar one more time .... and I couldn't get it work. I have received many suggestion on Facebook groups: some pepople recommend me to use Tusba, other ones suggest an CMUK. But afaik my problem is FCS. Tusba and CMUK wonrt fix my current issue. I am sure that my Cougar's hardware is fine... It worked before. I know people that run their Cougars on Win10 without any issue at all. I remember that after I got my Cougars working on WIn10, I couldn't run manual calibration, so I reinstall drivers and it fixed. Maybe something went wrong after a Windows update .... maybe something related to drivers where broken ... I dont know. It would be grat if someone could give me some support. I really want to have my Cougar working on its natural state, and upgrading it to arduino mmjoy or leo bodnar board is my really last resource. Thnaks in advance. Salute Gavilan
  22. Wow!! Thanks for sharing your projet! It looks really cool!
  23. why not a brazilian tiger with CFT, BVR capabilities and modern cockpit? I will kill for it... as someone post before. Salute Gavilan
