  1. Small problem here... I have 20 AI-planes around. 8 spawn in air, the rest on the ground. They cycle randomly between 4 airports using the 'setdestination' and 'setdeparture' options. The airports are Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Al Maktoum and Sharjah. (Sharjah is not used by 380s and 747s.) This worked pretty well. But for a while now, some planes land on the Al Minhad AB. When they touch the ground, the ATC says "Welcome to Dubai Intl." Same for another AB (forgot which one) where they land and it says "Welcome to Abu Dhabi International". Lol. Are they drunk? One more thing I recognized is, when I look on the F10 map, some of them have no flightplans. Any idea what causes this? Thx in advance!

  3. I removed them and replaced them with the planes of the cam-mod. Looks waaay cooler with the correct planes and airlines.

  6. Well, uncontrolled helicopters CAN touch and go. As often as you want them to do so. I use it in my missions quiet often... Out of my head: Under advanced waypoint actions you can force them to land. You can specify where to land and for how long. Sweet ain't it? :) It just needs a waypoint per landing. Look into it in the ME and you'll see. I can't explain it exactly, cause I'm not at home.
  7. Ooookay. I uploaded 5 different files. Tried it for the 3rd time (!) today. Still nothing. I even changed the picture format. Just in case. It didn't work out either. There's no error message or something coming up. Any clue what can cause this?
  8. Sorry for another grave digging, but same for me. Uploaded some skins few days ago. Still not showing up. Even not under "my files". I can't remember if pending files show up there or not.
  9. Before I start fiddling with this... would it be possible to create roughmets for the windows of a module? I have a skin in mind which has partially painted windows. You see? :D It works with the roughmets used in the CAM-mod. But the windows of those planes are just a painted part of the normal map and not of glass. And the roughmet-map is just a "version" of it, called by the description.lua.So I doubt this would be possible for, let's say the Huey.

  12. Definitely yes. But there is one in the original folder. Just check your downloaded file. Or use another description.lua, copy it into the Emirates folder, edit it that it points to the correct .dds and you're done.

  14. Rushed some cargoplanes to crowd DXB a bit. Not really ready. They need some tweaks here and there.
  15. Are there any plans for more models like the 777 or A340 or whatever? Just curious. :) Btw, if you need a skinner I'd be up for it. Just in case. EDIT: I'll paint some anyways. Lol. The question is: are there any templates available or do we have to edit an existing .dds?

  19. I've had this issue after the latest OB-update and with the latest drivers. Tried a repair, different settings ingame and via the nvidia cp. Nothing helped. Then I saw that the helipad from the civil objects mod v1.95 flickered in the ME. Removed it and the flickering was gone. Yay. The next thing I noticed was, after the removal of the helipad the workload on my RAM decreased dramatically. I've running MOOSE and RAT with lots of moving and static planes, helis, carriers full of planes and whatnot. Really a lot. Settings pretty much maxed out @ 3440x1440. Plus various apps running in the bachground. With the helipads my 16GB of RAM were runnig around 70%. Without the helipads it's around 40%. This was not the case before the latest update. So far so good. I can crowd Dubai even more now. Lol. Only thing that bugs me now are some white squares instead of lights at the oil rigs. So, I'd recommend to check your used mods. Seems that some may interfere with some obnoxious setting coming with the update. Just like the deferred shading which messed up the lighting. Which still persists...

  21. Well written DeTesla. Almost full agreement here. If an update would be at a reasonable price I'd pay for it aswell. The famous lighting fix is on ED's side of things, coz it affects the whole thing in general. An update for the Huey itself would be worth some money. Some money! Imho it should deal with the things arleady mentioned here plus a position lights bright/dim fix. For skinners a revamped template with better mapping would be nice.
