Hi everyone, I am just doing basic testing of scripting at a waypoint. So at Wpt 1 I have added a simple : do script --> trigger.action.outText("SCRIPT : F16 passing Wpt1" , 10) and do script file --> testDoScript.lua (with just one line : trigger.action.outText("FILE : F16 passing Wpt1" , 10)) When I run the mission - I see the "SCRIPT : F16 passing Wpt1" message - but I do NOT see the "FILE : F16 passing Wpt1" message What am I doing wrong ? Must the lua instructions in the file enbeded in a lua function or whatever ? Thanks

Hi everyone, As I had no chance in another forum room and as I am flying the F18 I try here: I would like to change the on screen kneebord position. I did it sucessfully by editing this line in VieportHandling.lua -- ORIGINAL DCS dedicated_viewport = {default_x,default_y,default_width,default_height} dedicated_viewport = {679,330,552,750} It works as intended in solo mode but when flying online DCS complains (because of a mode) and disconnect me from the server. Any solution ? Thanks

Hi, I am running DCS on a 22" monitor (Helios + CaptZeen) + videoprojection. My 22" was NOT originaly a "touchscreen" one but I bought an IR "touchscreen" overlay for about 40€ (+FDP) it works like a charm That might be a cheap solution for you. PS :Can someone tell me how to insert an image to show you how it look like ?

Hi everyone, I am interested to run DCS on a computer where I don't want to fly but just build missions and test lua script. Is the DCS dedicated server sufficient (i.e acces to ME and run mission in F10 view) or should I install the full DCS version. Thanks

Hi everyone, I am using a video projection for the main viewport located above a 22" monitor runing Helios+CaptZeen profile. When NVG is activated, it's default position is on the upper part of the projected picture which is not confortable in this configuration (tiring because you have to lift your head). I would like to make the NGV FOV tangent to the bottom border screen rather than the upper one as it is by default... Is there any way to do that, with a DCS option (I didn't find one) or modifying a few lua line in a file... Thanks

I everyone, I use to fly OB MP session with a friend as the hoster (as he has a better computer than mine). I fly with a vieoprojector for the main FOV and deported instrumentation on a dedicated 22" screen runing Helios and CaptZeen F18 profile. We never faced problem till last OB update where DCS complained that "Client tainted" when I entered the 3D game . If I "remove" (DCS reparation) Helios everything is fine. On the other hand, with Hélios/CaptZeen installed and runing it doesn't work anymore except if I am the session hoster... What's going wrong with Helios since the last OB update...? Does someone else face this problem ? Thanks

In particular what should be the "priority" among them... For exemple if I want a KC135 to enter a hypppodrome pattern while available for refueling which one should be the first one : pattern or refueling task ? Thanks

Hi everyone, So I want an IA flight being already visible when I enter cockpit and that it starts let's say 5 minutes after starting the mission. I didn't practice the DCS mission editor recently and although I was able to do that some months ago no way to do it now As far as I can remember and see in the forum I should use the UNCONTROLED option but... Hello, I have just updated my computer from W7 to W10 (no hardware changes) to enjoy the latest DCS update. Updated from 2.6 to 2.7 without problem but when I launch DCS it tells me that I must enter a key for my products (F18, F16, M2000, PG and Syria map). When I go to my account, the "details section" shows a binding key for the M2000 but nothing for the other products I purchassed except command number and so on but no key... Please help. Thanks

Hi everyone, I am wondering if this is a feature that doesn't exist in RL or that I have just not yet discovered... The question is the following : when you release an ordonance on one wing only, the plane center of gravity moves on the opposite and it tends to roll, something that you can correct by manually triming the plane. I am just surprised that an automatic triming function would not exist in such a sophisticated plane... It sounds raisonable to me that the rolling rate could be analysed by the computer and trimed acordingly after pilot action. Did I miss something ? Thanks

May be I was not clear enough... So some clarification about my question. It is clear to me that any pilot must be very efficient in AA engagement as they can be engage any time and they must defend their life... On the other hand I do not see any reason why a pilot generally flying AA mission would be tasked an AG mission unless extrem and urgent necessity Don't kwon if I am clear enough.
