  1. Hi,

    @BIGNEWY

    @Flappie

    Just a quick message to say that I am (we are) getting frustrated to see that nothing is being done to fix all the issues that have already been raised. I am aware this is not the same priority as the Hornet, Viper etc... however for issues that have been raised for years on a commercial module, that is still for sale on your platform, this is quite unacceptable,

    Please can you address these issues as soon as possible to enable a better experience with this module for everyone.

    Thank you !!!

    Thank you for your message.

    I appreciate that DCS has limitations to deal with the dust effect in the programmation. However on my picture above, this effect is the same for a tank and a light vehicle unit with wheels, which is wrong as a tank track will produce much more dust effect than a light wheels vehicle.

    On top of this, let's talk about the helicoper downwash effect. In DCS, if the helicopter is on ground with no pitch applied on the blades (zero lift effect), you still have a dust effect that never goes away (see 2 pictures attached), which is wrong as well, look at the video down here from 0.22 sec to 0.36 sec. You will notice that when the helicopter is on ground with rotor blade turning with 0 pitch applied you will see that ther is no wash out effect.

    If you could do something for the dust effect & the effect for the helicopter that would be great as you can get spotted from miles away being on ground for several minutes with a dust effect that isn't real especially for the helicopter. This effect must only be created when the pilot applies pitch on the rotor blade for take-off, and for landing until the pilot is on ground with 0 pitch on rotor blade.

    For the helicopter in DCS, the effect that you but in place is really nice but it should be adapted to the ptich (lift) that you apply on the rotor disk !

    Thank you for your feedback about my last message!

  3. Hi,

    It seems that the dust is not impacted by the shadow, there is no difference in terms of shadow "light" intensity.

    Also, when driving over the grass, the sand dust does not seem realistic...

    Has anyone noticed the same ?
