    Voice attack

Hi All, can anyone tell me if I can use Voice attack in a WW2 multilayer server. Thanks in advance.
  2. Hi Yurgon I've added, one by one, afterburner, trackir5 and voice attack and everything is now working fine. Mysterious, but thanks again. Sent from my AGS-W09 using Tapatalk
  3. F10 Map Hi Yurgon, thanks for the help / feedback. I checked the 4 options you indicated and unchecked everything else. I also removed all bindings except pitch, roll, rudder and Throttle and trims. I ran DCS on it's own with no trackir5, afterburner or voice attack. I'm flying the P51-D real in instant action, (free flight) in the Normandy map. I'm running 2.5.4 in stable mode. I'm pleased to say that the F10 map function now works, along with all of the Other F function keys. I will now start adding, one by one the other options that I use and see where thing's break down. I'll let you know the outcome. Thanks again.
  4. Thanks very much for your help. I,m just flying instant action for this check. I've also discovered that the other F Keys don't work as well. I'm using a wireless keyboard and I thought that maybe it was going intermittent, so I bought a new keyboard and still the same problem. The options menu is to all map functions. I will double check that the radio is off and I will create a simple mission to fly and see what happens. I have to say that I've been flying DCS for about a year now and I've not had this problem before. Any further help would be much appreciated as I'm just getting ready for fw190 a8. I always fly in the stable mode. Thanks
  5. Hi Pikey It's simple really, I'm running 2.5.4. I've flown both the Spitfire and the Mustang in the Normandy Map and the F10 key or the binding on the controller, just do nothing. I've run the repair option several times, but still nothing. Thanks for your reply.
  6. Hi All Since the last stable update, 2.5.4 I've lost all Map functions flying both the Spitfire and Mustang in the Normandy Map. Please note that I have run the ED Repair function several times. Any help please.
  7. Hi All, I've just started flying the Mustang again after several months away. I'm running the latest update ie, 2.5.4 I've lost random key bindings like rudder, trim and F10 maps view and I've reset the key bindings several times. I've checked my keyboard and Hotas in other sims and they are ok. I've also repaired dcs several times but still the same problems. Any suggestions Please??? Thanks
  8. Hi All I'm thinking of buying a curved monitor. Doe's anybody use one, can anyone recommend one. I'm not sure if the perspective for flight simming will be OK. Would appreciate any feedback. Thanks
  9. I did do that and I actually flew the airplane last night. I guess after buying the Spitfire and Mustang modules which were excellent, my expectations were suddenly shocked with the A10A lack of training which annoyed me a bit. Anyway, life goes on. Nice to hear from you.
  10. Thanks for the explanation and advice. Last night I found a quick start guide and flew the airplane, honestly I wasn't too impressed, so for now I'm going back to flying the Mustang which I really like. As for DCS, I think it's the best flight sim around at the moment, so I will definitely be sticking around. Cheers.
  11. Thanks very much for your reply, it's helpful and instructive. I will certainly check out your Google page as suggested. ps. I love DCS and the Mustang is a delight to fly. Cheers
  12. Thanks for your thoughts. I wonder if ED thought I was a bad customer when I handed over my money?
  13. I normally fly the Spitfire and Mustang in the Normandy map where my main interest lies. I like ground attack and thought that i would try out the A10. I did'nt want to shell out for the A10-C with all the bells and whistles until i had seen what it's like to fly, so i opted for the cheaper A10-A. I was very disappointed when i was about to start training that i discovered that THERE ARE NO TRAINING OPTIONS for the A10-A. Surely there must have been some sort of training associated with the original A10-A, why not just retain it. You can't sell an "in game module" without a training option, all the other modules have them. Not good marketing ED, one disgruntled customer. 14. Hi All, Could someone tell me the command to break out of DCS so that I can open another window without quitting DCS eg, so that I can open Track IR for adjustment and then return to DCS without having to reload every thing again. I've tried alt + tab and other combinations but no luck so far. Thanks. Win10,i7-7700HQ'2.8GHz,Ram-16Mb'2400MHz,SSD'256Gb,Graphics-intel-630'1MB + NVIDIA-GTX'1060-6Gb,HD-1Tb.
  15. OK Campbell, at the moment I only use the instant action to fly, which is why I am having the problem. Thanks for your reply.
  16. Hi Sydy, I'm new to DCS so please bear with me. I fly the P51-D in the Normandy map so the frequency list is really useful, thanks very much. I would very much like to use this in the kneeboard, but I notice that you are an open beta user as described in the file path. I'm using the latest stable version of DCS and I wonder if it will work for me. If so, where can I find the file path to use? Thanks again gra1.
  17. Hi All, I'm just getting to grips with the P51-D and I taxied out to the runway to take off and was confronted nose on by a Spitfire that had just landed. Obviously I should have contacted the tower for permission, which I have been trying to do, but I can't find any information on how to use the radio for comms with the tower etc. There doesn't seem to be any information on utube. I've turned the radio on and have used the / command, but nothing. Can anyone give me some tips or tell me the procedure to follow to get comms working. Thanks very much, gra1.
  18. I had exactly the same problem as you, not being able to display the frame rate. I tried everything to try and solve the problem, including assigning different bindings. I put it down to the fact that I was using a gaming laptop that used a special key to access the Pause key. The way I solved the problem was to download the free 'msi afterburner' software which is primarily used for overclocking, but has a really good tool for displaying the frame rate and other info such as Gpu temp etc. Just search for msi afterburner and you'll get the download site and utube files on how to use. Hope this helps, any problems just reply to this email.
  19. Hi guys, I'm new to DCS so please bear with me. Whats the best way to achieve level flight on the Spitfire IX when you don't have aileron trim ? Win10,i7-7700HQ'2.8GHz,Ram-16Mb'2400MHz,SSD'256Gb,Graphics-intel-630'1MB + NVIDIA-GTX'1060-6Gb,HD-1Tb.
  20. Hi Campbell. I have fixed my problem by switching over from game mode to sim mode. I thought being a newbie that it would be an easier to start off in game mode, but obviously not. Thanks gra1.
  21. Hi, yes I have fixed the problem. Being a newbie I started off in game mode to make things easier. I've now changed to sim mode and the problem has gone away, power and performance are as expected. Thanks gra1.
  22. Hi All. I,m new to DCS (approx 4 wks ) and loving it. My only previous flying experience is 45hrs flying a Cessna 172 in FSX. I have several problems, but i,m only going to ask one at a time. From take off with 60 MP and 3000 Rpm, it takes an absolute age trying to get the speed up to about 170Mph to start the climb out. I keep the Alt low and the Vsi to a very low climb rate, trying to increase speed, but it just dos'ent happen. Let me say that i've used the cheat to start the engine, but still the same problem. I guess i must be missing something but can't figure out what. Any help would be much appreciated, thanks gra1.
