  1. Yes eventually I did receive them. The packaging was great. He missed two items I ordered (Cardigans) but he made up for it by reimbursing the price of those items and sending me the 3D file to print myself. I'm happy with the product so far, but it would have been nice to have a heads up that it would take about 8 months to arrive...
  2. Wow thanks for compiling all that! And I'm glad I'm not the only one experiencing it. Nice work!
  3. Problem solved. I had to get DisplayLink software. Would be handy info to have included in Cubesim's install help videos.
  4. So after about 8 months of waiting, my Cubesim MFDs finally arrived! First thing I noticed, it's missing the backboards to mount them to the desk mounts. Guess I'll 3d print my own. Second and main issue right now is that the screens will power on, show the Cubesim splash screen, then go straight to a blue screen that says "no signal" and then go black. Windows Device manager sees them "USB-VGA-17" (no device drivers) but they don't show up in Display Settings.
  5. Further experimentation, it's an intermittent issue. Same server, same players connected, sometimes I"ll load in and get 40fps pretty consistently, other times I"ll load in and it's instantly a slide show.
  6. I opened a support ticked and attached the log file.
  7. Thanks for the reply, but no my PC isn't rebooting on its own. I have tried rebooting it before joining the server to make sure it's not some weird glitch.
  8. The performance graph I was looking at did show the CPU as being the bottleneck. (i5 9700k, overclocked) but if it was only a server problem, would the issue not go away once I back out of the server to the main menu? Because it doesn't stop being a slide show even when I'm back in the main screen. Rest of system specs are: 2080ti, 32gb ram, m.2 nvme, Windows 10, OpenXR
  9. Hey this problem seems to happen intermittently, but happened three times in a row tonight even after complete PC reboots. I boot DCS and it runs fine. Usually get around 30-60fps in single player. Even in my sqn's servers I usually get good performance. Today I tried to join 4YA servers, and every time I loaded into the server my fps would instantly drop to 3-7. Total slide show. It has happened before on other servers, but usually a reboot fixes. The even weirder part is if I exit to main menu after joining the server, the FPS even in the menu remains low. Anyone else had this issue?
  10. Well I got a reply and at least it wasn't a supply issue this time.
  11. Just found this thread after a Google search of "Cubesim delayed." I ordered mine back in November and when I emailed in December for an approx ship date, he said Jan/Feb timeframe. When I emailed him again in Feb he said they would be shipped by the end of Apr. Now almost midway through May I'm emailing him again. 6 months without even a shipping notification (which I'm assuming will take about 3 weeks in itself) seems unusually bad to me. How hard can it be to build one of those things? I know he had supply issues, but even that considered, this seems way off to me. Getting frustrated here at the shifting promises.
  12. There are probably about 100 different poll options, it could be there. But those are the top most voted.
  13. Well ED, looks like the vote is in. George is out, Wagz is the new Apache AI copilot.
  14. You were right about the drive. Although it was installed on an SSD last year, he switched the install folder to a different SSD and its been working just fine. Thanks for the suggestions.
  15. Thanks I'll pass this along to him and we'll see how it goes
  16. I was trying to get someone new into playing DCS today, he was frequently freezing in the loading screens while loading instant action or multiplayer. When it did connect, he would get a few minutes into the game before he would get a crash to desktop. Not sure exactly his system specs but he's got a 2070 super and I think 32gb ram. I've got a 2080ti and only 16gb ram and I haven't had a single crash yet.
  17. That's what I was afraid of. That box is sketchy at best. Thanks for the reply
  18. Hey all, just wondering if there is a quick method of confirming what you're locked on to in ACM mode. I'm aware of the SA page and being able to TUC a HAFU to interrogate it's IFF, and I'm aware of LTWS and NCTR on the radar display. My problem is specifically in ACM/BFM when you have about 0.5 seconds to look down at your DDIs and it's impossible to take the time to try an NCTR print, and the SA page is jumbled with friendly and hostile HAFUs all in the same spot (even when zoomed in) What I was hoping to find is somewhere that immediately displays available IFF info about a target you've just locked on to, without having to try to correllate your lock with the SA page and pinpoint that target with your TDC, all while trying not to die in a furball. I believe the F15 has an IFF indication right on the HUD of your current lock, not sure if the F18 has anything similar
  19. Like Flagrum said, set your efuse to instant. Make sure your LTDR switch is in the on position (it can switch off by itself now) and make sure you hold the release button for the auto release to work. DUD could also be displayed if you're outside launch parameters, like being too low. The pod will auto lase for you now, you don't have to lase with the trigger. (It never was SCS switch to lase) You'll see a LASER countdown after you've dropped telling you when the pod will begin auto-lasing. It only provides the bomb terminal guidance now.
  20. I find #1 is baffling enough to be a bug. I can't figure out why you can slew in opr mode at first, but then after you cycle through area and point track, opr mode no longer slews
  21. Hey just wondering if there is any real-world documentation on the Litening pod so I can confirm if the pod is behaving normally or if it's bugs. The issues I'm wondering about are as follows: Issue 1: Slewing the pod once I've cycled through area, point, and back to opr. You can slew in opr (no target designated), the pod stays in snowplow mode wherever you slew it to. Can't slew in area or point, but can use the offset for fine tuning your target. Once you cycle out of point track, the pod stays in an "area track"-like mode (instead of snowplow mode that it started in with opr mode) and you can no longer slew the pod unless you cycle vvslv or designate/undesignate a target. Issue 2: Once you target designate in opr mode, your reticle will change to a diamond and the pod will constantly automatically update GPS coords to your weapon as you slew the pod around. Cycling through area, point, and back to opr will let you slew the pod (unlike if you didn't have a designated target) Issue 3: Using offset cursor in point track mode, then cycling to opr mode will snap the pod to the offset cursor's location. There is no way to snap the pod to the cursor's location while in area track mode. Issue 4: there is no indication that a target has been designated with an offset cursor, other than watching your weapon station receive new coords. I.e there's no way to see what your new target is on the screen. Issue 5: there is no way to slave the pod to a point (like waypoint designate) without the pod sending those coords to your weapon station. I can deselect the weapon station, slave the pod to a waypoint, but then as soon as I select the station so I can drop my bombs, the pod zaps coords over to the station and overwrites my original target coords. Issue 6: Offset cursor isn't bound by the edges of the screen so it can fly off and get lost somewhere
  22. I have the same issue as you, came here to see if it had been reported already. -No target designated, pod can be slewed in snowplow. -Switch to area track, pod can't be slewed (functions as it should with offset) -Switch to point track, pod can't be slewed (also functions as it should with offset) -Switch back out of point track mode and pod behaves as if you are still in area track or point track, cannot be slewed. If you designate a target (TDC depress) then you are able to slew the pod

    F-15E UFC poll

Definitely modern! Why would you limit it with analog? Modern would be so much better!
  24. That would be so much nicer than going to HSI > Data > BAlt/RAlt buttons > UFC!
  25. Hey so I'm trying to get a unit to transmit a message when I enter trigger zones. My "Message to Group" trigger works just fine, but I can't get the unit to transmit a radio message. I have set his freq and power with another programmed task (and also tried the FAC freq options) I set my aircraft to his freq The unit was less than 1km from my aircraft I used task set and task push in the triggers page Any advice?
