  1. building a new shader cache can indeed have performance impacts
  2. this looks amazing, i cant wait to get this!
  3. i really hope so, not only does steam vr for the Q3 perform worse, it has this weird blur around the centre, almost like a fixed favoeated render, which isnt present on airlink or via link cable. plus steam vr maxes out at 350mbs transfer, i can get my link cable up to 960mbs with no risk of interruption unless the cable gets pulled out
  4. this alt enter fix no longer works on the multithreaded (todays open beta)
  5. Tried on my system 2d Nvidia CP Vsync Off Ingame Vsync ON Autoexec fix applied no alt enter on the latest OB edit: im stupid, i had autoexe not autoexec file it now works, however im not seeing the same performance boost it used to give when doing it
  6. tbh, SLI has been all but abandoned for gaming, even by Nvdia, its really only used for production workloads now, it had such a small adoption rate they really never put much effort into sorting the drivers out and devs also had to dedicate precious time to getting it to work in games without being a horrendous mess. this further reduced adoption rates to the point where the current gen cards dont even have the adaptor save the 3090, so i wouldn't expect great things even if you can get your cards to both function in DCS, micro stutter, frame drops, possible lower perofrmance than a single card and crashes were all too common on my old titan SLI system.
  7. are you sure, my asus z390 has tpm 2.0, i had to enable it in bios though, its not a physical chip
  8. i'm glad turning off your lEDSs fixed it for you, full brightness should work too. its the in-between stages that cause the jitter. however in my case this didn't fix it, only isolating the throttle on a powered hub sorted it
  9. the download links for all the files seem to be non responsive. might just be on my end but can some one else check please
  10. i know when i blink my head movement goes up because of how sensitive the headtracking is. i dont actually think its tracking your eyes, its just we do micro movements with our head and this tracker is picking them up.
  11. ok, its been resolved, basically in the mirage and harrier i had to remove 50% saturation from the X axis in the track ir axis in the module controls, this allows me to look fully up ( i actually think its a little bit further than the standard mouse look allows) thanks to all those who assisted and hopefully this helps some other people who may have this issue with razbam modules ( i don't have the Mig 19 so i couldn't test it but id guess it would have the same issue)
  12. ill try a dcs repair and see what happens. Edit: @myHelljumper nope, same thing. ill be happy to show you on discord if you like? screen share what happens
  13. Since 2.7 the harrier head movement seems to max out at about 60-70 degrees on the pitch up using both track ir, tobii 5c and Facetracknoir. in other aircraft I am able to look up to 90 degrees and it stops there (if you go past that it inverts the camera but the harrier is the only module with this issue. any idea people?
  14. @YSIAD_RIP does mouse polling rate affect headtracking using either facetrack, opentrack or tobii though?
  15. @YSIAD_RIP ah i see, im not using eye tracking at all, just using it as a head tracker, i use sys track and head track for star citizen but for dps its just too much movemement for me in such small cockpits.
  16. i believe you have to point the dcs exe to the tobii gamehub @Hiob the input lag is a slight bit higher but only very very slightly compared to TIR5, using either FTnoir or tobiigamehub, personally i get a smoother and more customisable experience from FT compared to tobiigamehub
  17. so now you've had it a few weeks, what do you think? i've gone back to facetracknoir for the software as it seems to be smoother than the tobii software, and more curve customisation. other than that id say the tracking is on par with track ir 5.
  18. this would be nice, then dlss would be supported too
  19. yep, very happy its out, although this update did kill support for IL2, i guess facetracknoir will do for that
  20. in the newer modules, in morning or evening the hud defo has a bloom effect when you put brightness at max, i think just during the mid day sun (most servers are at this, you dont get the effect because the lighting is so flat
  21. so, i fixed it, i had to plug my throttle into a powered hub, and the hub into a usb slot on my mobo. the pot was only jittery when ingame due to 'signal noise' generated by my system under load (3090 and highly OC 8700k), out of game there was no issue, and it happened in multiple games not just DCS so it was not a binding clash. now ive done this the jitter is gone!!!!!
