  1. OK, I am running the Beta version 2.9 I have my game mode set to Simulation and when in (Instant action - Takeoff) or (Training Take off) I cannot get the aircraft to lift off. It just gets to super speed and runs off the end of the runway. These are two files that were suggested to be shared. A10c 2 Take off fai 2l.trk A10c 2 Take off fai external viewl.trk
  2. Hi, I was getting a 1 - 2 second freeze in game about every 30 seconds or so. I contacted DCS Tech help who got back to me quickly with a suggestion that it could be my Anti Virus. I use Malwarebytes Anti Virus which has four Protections 1. Web Protection 2. Malware Protection 3. Ransomware Protection 4. Exploit Protection I disabled all of them and the problem was fixed. I then ran DCS turning each each one of the Protections back on. The culprit appeared to be number 3. Ransomware Protection. I have found out if you open Malwarebytes and go to the "ALLOW" section and by Inserting "D:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common" (My game is on drive D your location may be different.) In the "ALLOW" section you need to select the "FOLDER" option not the "FILE" option. This should solve the problem without having to actually turn off Malwarebytes. I have no other problems whilst running DCS with Malwarebytes running in the background. Hope this helps.
  3. Hi I'm just starting to understand inputting waypoints in the FA-18C and would like to know if there is a way to delete waypoints that are already input in "FREE FLIGHT MODE" Thanks. Allan.
  4. Thanks for the info. That image will be very handy for future reference.
  5. Great I'll give that a try , thanks. I did try using a small amount of Wahl Oil which was good for a while but didn't last.
  6. Thanks mate, no never spilt anything. HOTAS is only a couple of months old and has was like that from new. I'll have a closer look maybe a bit of lube required. :joystick:
  7. Hi Can anyone advise please re the gun trigger (Button 1) on the Thrustmaster Warthog HOTAS. Mine is sticky when first pressed to stage one but OK at stage two. If pressed a few times it's smooth but if not used for a while say like 20 minutes it's a little sticky to fire but then is OK. It's kind of like the trigger is not quite centred and catches on the side. Anyone have this, or is it normal? Thanks Allan :helpsmilie:
  8. Interesting I did not know that.
  9. Yes one of my problems is not giving a long enough run once the SPI is set I'm often too close.
  10. Thanks for the info you make two really good points, both of which are worth remembering.
  11. Re started PC next day and all is back to normal except the SIM and REAL option in CONTROLS.
  12. Thanks but no I'm aware of the right control + c option. Was curious about the SIM and REAL control option.
  13. Hi Just went to play one of the missions in the A-10C and I cannot click on any of the controls IE MFCD buttons, switches, radio switches and dials. I have the small yellow cross but it is not changing to the green icon to allow me to interact with any controls. I'm using the Thrustmaster Warthog HOTAS. both stick and throttle controls appear to be OK. I notice that in the "CONTROL SETUP" page that the option for A-10C SIM has gone and there are two options for the A-10C these being "A-10C REAL" and A-10C GAME" but no A-10C SIM Has there been an update or something as I never had the "A-10C REAL" option before? I could however click the switches in one of the A-10C training modes. Any advise on this would be appreciated as I cannot fly my A-10C in this state. :pilotfly:
  14. That's great thanks. You know I completely forgot about the "firing the laser." Onward and upward :pilotfly:
