  1. Funny you randomly get huge clouds of smoke while parked and idling. :lol:
  2. This was it for me. I was getting big pauses 2-3 times a minute. Even in single player. I noticed it wasn't just the rendering but also the menus and mouse too. i.e. the re-arming menu would pause. Anyway Maleware Bytes disabled solves it. Thanks.

    Not to be mean but you're implying that everybody should have fun your way only.
  5. G (Landing gear next state) will cycle through the 4 settings which is a combination of 2 other settings: Direction and lock. They can be done individually if you chose. To raise: 1. Press G. It will say, "gear up ready". Direction = up, unlocked. 2. Hold LCtl+G (Landing gear handle, Up) until the handle stops. 42 turns so a long time. 3. Press G, It will say, "gear up fin". Direction = up, unlocked. This stage does seem to do anything since there's no up and locked. To lower: 1. Press G, It will say, "gear down ready". Direction = down, unlocked. 2. Hold LShift+g (Landing gear handle, Down) until the handle stops. 3. Press G, It will say, "gear down fin". Direction = down, locked. I setup some buttons on my throttle for G, Up, and Down. Also it moves up/down the same but noticeably the more it comes up the slower it goes so the speed is not linear. Also that curved tube across the edge of the cockpit is the gear indicator.

    Trim?

    Well it appears you can not deploy the flaps if you're going "fast". Which is fine. I'm just adding info. For the lack of trim. I don't really mind but it does limit how long I'm willing to fly it.

    Point Track

    For TPOD, It works but just seems like you have to be very close for it to switch to point track. When I do an attack run it starts with area and I just assume it will change to point eventually and just launch weapons. Just try to keep the laser on the target until it switches. Also often with PT it seems to be off the vehicle a little. I just leave it and the weapon seems to make a direct hit anyway.
  8. March video update says it's fixed. I noticed the probe goes right through the basket last night. Hopefully that's fixed today as well.
  9. As a new part-time RIO, it seems like it's the radar not Jester. I have the same thing happen. An easy lock of a large target directly ahead in STT and the radar loses lock almost every time. I should be able to melt the enemy plane with this radar but it can't hold lock?

  11. In the Civil Aircraft mod some of the lights and/or strobes are odd cubes. This happened to the Harrier a few months ago and a texture was missing. I suppose this is well know and simple fix. Can anyone explain how to fix it. The Super Connie in the previous post seems to be exhibiting the same issue.
  12. It was pretty obvious to anyone this would be an unbalanced problem. Just an idea but if you want more RIOs you could make it where the pilot/rio alternate. Make it mandatory that it's equal time. Yeah more to learn but it's not that hard.
  13. Hi. I call the tanker with intent to refuel 20-30 miles away and when I get there both baskets are extended already. I get in position and contact the tanker. With the Tomcat I felt the basket was not actually there since I couldn't plug but that might be just my poor flying. With the Harrier it still refueled as normal, the tanker called disconnect and neither basket retracted. Not really a big deal since it still refueled but asking in case anybody has any ideas.
  14. Me too. I'm not sure why this wouldn't be acceptable. If it doesn't work more than 10 minutes then why even have this option.
  15. It's happened 2-3 times to me. Each time it was aligned on ground by Jester at initial startup using the fastest method. I've noticed it doesn't fail when 2nd method or above is used. Or at least it hasn't yet.
