  1. Launched a multiplayer session and crashed while dogfighting (crashed happened when G-Loc started to happen). According to log, issue comes from F:\DCS World OpenBeta\bin-mt\WeaponBlocks.dll I'm not using any mod, this is a fresh DCS install on a fresh Windows install. Thanks for your help! dcs.log-20240414-230200.zip
  2. Anyone can help ? It crashes almost everytime when I get killed right after I select my slot in multiplayer. Re-installed DCS and the Mirage module and nothing changed. Thanks
  3. Hi guys, I'm having regular crashes while loading mission or when I'm shot down prior to re-spawn. Seems to come from M2KC_CPT.dll according to the log (attached). Thanks for your help dcs.log.old dcs.log-20240107-193552.zip
  4. I didn’t touch anything, just set DLSS to quality, disabled OXR Toolkit, disabled reprojection in OXR tool for WMR and even enabled shadows that I disabled a while ago when it got buggy. I will Provide screenshot of the settings as soon as I can. NB: I realize my signature wasn’t updated with current hardware
  5. I am blown away by this update. 90fps on the G2 without motion reprojection (and its artifacts), even on busy MP servers. Feel like I've been waiting for this forever. The only downside is that planes in the distance look like a blury dark spot but I can leave with that.
  6. can't wait for the feedback of a DCS VR player using a 7000X3D now !
  7. I get what you’re saying but you could have motion repro disabled anywhere from 45 to 90FPS and enabled below that (which I believe steamVR does)
  8. Thanks for clarifying! I have to say that motion reprojection is working really well at 45 FPS for me (12600K @5.2Ghz + 3080 Ti). My experience vs SteamVR's reprojection is night and day, I use to have sudden spikes and frame drops that made the game unplayable from time to time, all of this is gone now. Not to mention the epileptic seizures with SteamVR each time you launch the game... Do we know if an 'auto' motion reprojection option is being worked on for OpenXR (which would lock at 45FPS only if the system is limited and unlocked above this number?). Since it's locked at 45FPS my GPU is underutilized (running at 70-80%), any recommendation of a setting i could crank up to optimize utilization and improve graphic quality ? MSAA x4 maybe ? NB: I only play on multiplayer Thanks!
  9. Quick update : It turns out that my motherboard was recalled (Aorus z690i DDR4) because of a hardware issue creating thousands of WHEA errors. Upon receiving the new one (Aorus Z690i Ultra Plus….), I switched to OpenXR instead of SteamVR and the spikes are gone. Not sure if only one or both things above fixed my issue though! Thanks to those who helped, much appreciated.
  10. Quick question, is there a way to run reprojection on auto instead of lock? If I set it on Auto in the OpenXR for WMR tool it’s disabled regardless of what setting I use in the overlay. if I set in on Enable it’s locked to 45 FPS. Thanks ! NB : many thanks for sharing this guide OpenXR is a game changer for me vs SteamVR
  11. So I disabled my iGPU in BIOS and did a DCS repair (long). i check disk timings and saw nothing specials no change will provide new DXdiag and DCS log tonight, as well as disk timing screenshot. A few things I thought of : - I did a full fresh DCS install last week (because before that I copied DCS folder from an old disk instead). But I kept the saved games folder. No change. Should I try another one but with deleting the saved games folder prior ? - I notice that if I disable motion smoothing in SteamVR I don’t get those spikes. Can it be a Motion Smoothing problem then ? When everything goes well the forced-MS experience is better (for instance when I look on the sides flying low at tree level it’s smoother). But when the spikes kick in it’s terrible. - I find interesting that with forced MS, the graph is green, but disabling MS it becomes orange (with a similar frame time) is this normal ? - should I try non beta versions of SteamVR and WMR for SteamVR ? - forgot to mentioned that I’m not using any mods. - I tried another MP server yesterday and got the same issue. I will disable MS for now. Any other idea ? many thanks again
  12. @Flappie Find attached dcs log file as well as DxDiag. Many thanks in advance for your help. Didn't have the chance to play since my initial post, but I will as soon as I can. dcs.log DxDiag2.txt
  13. The WD SN850 is a pcie 4.0 nvme drive (that’s the only one in my system, no hdd). I do not believe the fps drops go away if I don’t do anything (Alt+tab or other). preload is at max Didn’t have time to test Flappies suggestions yet but I will as soon as I can. thanks all!
