without STD HDG pressed,  INS set at AV or GND, after wait for long time untill it shows OK, but still, heading is unchanged （incorrect heading ) , same as game start.

As mentioned before in this thread, you'll find VR recenter under the UI controls.

 

When you are in the controls settings menu in DCS, you can select the desired modules in the upper left drop down menu (where you select the aircraft type). In there you can also select UI controls.

That's all fine and dandy if you're coming back solo and there's no traffic nearby but when there are other aircraft inbound for recovery there's a bunch of other commands. Note, this was probably added after a few of the latest updates. it is August 7 2020 so more options in comms may have been added.

 

Either way I'm just as confused. I can't get "see you at 10" when I'm inbound with a wingman or if there are other aircraft in the stack.

 

So going off that, what is the correct order of communications. "See you at 10" is when it's just you by yourself and then it's fairly simple to communicate but it's not that easy when you're not alone.

Once you call See you at 10 to the Marshall, it will say “Update state switched off”, and then when you’re in pattern with the ship as above, it will call the approach officer with call sign and number, angels/altitude and fuel state. Then tower replies as an example “305, Tower, Roger. BRC is 309, signal is Charlie”. Which is then when you’re cleared to do your pattern approach.

I'll assume CASE I. Call "Inbound" to Marshal 50 NM from the boat, call "See you at 10" when you're 10 NM away from the ship, enter into a 5 NM diameter orbit over the ship (left side) at or above 2,000 ft, wait for the Approach to say "<side number> .... BRC is YYY, signal is Charlie". After that, go for the CASE I approach and when you turn to final, at 0.75 NM from the boat, select the Ball Call from the comms menu (there is also a keybind for it, so you don't have to fiddle with the menu).

I believe this to be the wrong sub forum. Happens often to me to and I blame it either on the SC or the coms in general. Might be wrong, but I consider it a ED thing.

But this time I met new problem. it can not recognize F18 add on grip.

 

In Firmware Updater, only one device 23, there is no device 12

I check warthog with exclamation mark in hardware manager window . I unplug and replug several times, same.

But under Thrustmaster folder I see no " > Hotas Warthog >

only "TARGET" folder under Windows 7: Start > Programs(86) > Thrustmaster >

I have used T.A.R.G.E.T for many year, and never met problem.

because I switch to use other device so didn't use it for two or three monthes.

want to switch back to TM device.Try to start T.A.R.G.E.T, it won't start and shows a code 0*00000424 “ check.... use manager account to start, or reinstall....

So I reinstall and try several times and restart PC , same result .

Could you tell me what is the code 0*00000424 for? what happen to my PC?

Make sure you have installed the super carrier in the module manger

 

you can find single player missions by going to the " missions " on the right of the main menu ( not instant action )

 

selecting the f-18 or f-14 and you will find super carrier missions ready for single player

Yesterday, I watched the video clip " set supercarrier in mission editor" . I follow the steps in video, in ship list there are the new names CVN71 72 73 and 74. After icon shows on map, I zoom in to end, no carrier deck appear.

It is operational in DCS, but even with the TM Warthog it isn't bound by default. Then again, can't say I've ever found a need to use it, so if you have the TM Warthog, it's fine to use the paddle switch for something else IMO (plus, the paddle switch is in a different position anyway). :thumbup:

When i started DCS it said supercarrier is ready I hit ok, DCS restarted got the icon at the bottom. But in the editor nothings new. Its the old models not the new module. The new module folder says its only 280MB?

 

I meet same problem.

in mission editor, add a super carrier on map, zoom in to the end , can not see deck. which means I can not put any jet and crew on deck. It is old carrier! nothing new.

what happen?
