After read all friends replies, and after one night practice, I can finish refueling and, day by day, better and better. Your reply is one of the most helpful ! after your reply, during my practice, I realized, I put 80-90% attention on HUD and fail everytime to stay contact, later I follow what you told me, I put 80% attention on tanker instead of HUD, I can stay contact much longer. met same problem. 1# the problem appear after landing on carrier and later takoff again. 2# in my edit mission, BLT autopilot engaging will pull up 18's head. after depress to disengage BLT AP, 18's rudder stay left and can not be moved by stick input. and pitch up untill crash. I fly same mission for month many times without any problem, untill yesterday. maybe another problem? maybe the same? anyone met the same problem? how to resolve? Thank you!

Thank you Soooooooooooooo much !!!!!!!!!!! save my DCS activations in time! Appreciate!!!!! And, am I right? that means I don't need uninstall DCS from Win7 and install DCS in Win10. The Win10 can run the already installed DCS? If yes, the only thing I need to do is to move (copy & paste) those configure files( such as input setting, saved mission.....) in former system disk's "user/saved game/ DCSob" folder to the counterpart folder in Win10? if there is any? Of course, after following what you told me about reactivations.

I have dual system Win7&Win10 in single desktop. Win10 is newly added in newly installed disk. I try to not waste my time to install DCS again, so I didn't uninstall DCS from Win7. After enter Win10, I didn't install DCS for Win10. When enter Win10, I pressed "Run" button, the .exe file, in DCS OB folder, which is installed under Win7 system. Try to let Win10 run DCS without reinstall to save time and registration. Win10 did run DCS and pass the autorization window. Later a window ask me to enter avtivation serial numbers for products, such as combine arms and mig-21 and so on, those I got activation under Win7. My question is : is recativation necessary? for newly installed Win10, or to say, for Dual system? in single desktop? If not, how should I do ? Appreciate !

one more question, please. I 'v kept this question for years. When I read war history, specially WW 1 and WW 2. Pilot say never fly a straight line more than one minutes over Strait of Dover , which means pilot need to be alert and keep looking around. More eyes means more alertness. But during formation flight, only leader pilot has free eyes. How can those wingmen struggle to keep formation and look around? I watched many documantations trying to find answer, but no veteran mention this topic. Any knowledge I can share?

Really helpful ! The understanding on what those real pilot suffer really calm me down and kick myself back to cockpit for training. Now I don't think I miss any step or made any mistake, I feel lucky I am not in real cockpit. Tough!!!! all I need is training and training I think carrier landing dosen't deserve a badge. Air refueling deserve! Is Air refueling an everyone-has ability for each pilot whose aircraft has air refueling capability ?

Yes I have warthog, but right now I use TWC thrustmaster throttle. I don't know how to use ATC correctly. press the ATC button, throttle will maintain the speed at the moment. My undertanding like that. Am I right? such as I engage ATC at 345, which is little fast than tanker, probe will contact, but I need disengage ATC immediatly, to reduce speed to same as tanker 344. or I engage ATC at 344, which is as same as tanker's speed, but I can never reach and contact tanker. could you tell me, is my understanding on ATC correct ? and could you teach me how do you use ATC? During half of my tries, it disconnects after the refueling start. OMG it is so hard. thank you. good to know!

to keep contact, the speed should be 344? I think air refueling is hundreds time harder than landing on carrier. why press and people keep talk focus on carrier landing. The heart stop 60 second, bla bla bla. air refueling is the hardest challenge to every pilot. OMG
