I try more times, minutes before, again! There must be someting changed after latest update. Because as I said "I didn't touch any other button or switch than I did in the past days. I do all the same as past days I did." which means if I made any mistake or missed any step caused they fail, I'v already made the same mistake in past days. But I havn't met BALT RALT fail before, in past days.

Thanks for reply! After I read your reply, few minutes before, I try quick start mission " carrier takeoff " several times/ only the first time, BALT RALT work. From second time, they won't work anymore. Even I do nothing before throttle up, fail. what happen? And, I did check game mode is unchecked in setting page. You said "accidentally engage game flight mode ". Is there any HOT KEY switch sim mode to game mode during the flight???? only one setting page has option for game mode, am I right?

all AUTO pilot functions work good in the past days. After latest update, highly possible, BALT and RALT won't work. ATT and HEADing are still working good as before. when click UFC 3 or UFC 4, " : " won't display anymore. And in DDI autopilot ADV show " A/P", and aircraft move like ATT auto engaged. I didn't touch any other button or switch than I did in the past days. what happen? any mistake I missed? but I do all the same as past days I did. Thank you!

True, a new added feature. I'v already set a button for it. But, where is the switch on Hornet?? I look over manual , throttle grip? throttle panel? I didn't find it where is the button or switch in real Hornet?

I like Ch-53 and other Helicopters, especially hope DCS have more support aircrafts, including not combat helicopter. Only hope is If any team want to make new helicopter for DCS, please make helicopter based on DCS standard, I call it " DCS helicopter standard". After I left SU-27 flank many years later, I came back to DCS by seeing a video clip, that is the preview video of DCS black shark. In that video a cold&dark Ka-50's blades were blow and react to the wind. Till now, to myself, I believe helicopters in DCS are closest to reality, meanly because that preview. I don't know it is true or not, but I think ED use a pretty advanced air dynamic engine. And that is why DCS's helicopters are so real and react to air. Hope all helicopters use the same engine, I call it "DCS helicopter air dynamic engine" and reach same standard. I think Helicopters in DCS are the best in flight simulation world. before DCS blackshark I fly helicopter also in FSX and other simulation. After DCS, specially after Mi-8 and UH-1 in DCS, I have no interest to fly helicopters in other FS. RAZBAM did great job in before projects, I like RAZBAM aircrafts. Hope RAZBAM team make good helicopter like CH-53 or ..... Thank you!

I just updated to 2.5.2.18521 few minutes before. after this time update, my first entrance try failed to connect to DCS, and a window shows up say: almost all aircraft DLC can not get authorization ..... when enter Game off line, I found it is ture, except Su-25, all other aircraft can not be fly off line. Is it proposed to ? mean it? if yes, please do not ! internet connection at somewhere is not always ok, especially oversea connection, at the moment, I fly off-line. 1/4 of my try is off-line. If I can not fly off-line, it will ruin my fly experience. Am I the only one met this situation? please do not prohibit fly off-line, when internet connection fail.

I read manual several times, but I can not understand: when set ALE-47 to AUTO mode, " will select the a program to match the threat and allow the pilot to initiate a program (S/A) or have the CMDS initiate a program automatically (AUTO)." my understanding about "initiate" is : when S/A, system will select program BUT need pilot press throttle grip switch to start release chaff&flare. when AUTO, system will select program AND release chaff&flare automatically (CMDS initiate), pilot don't need do anyting. please teach me the real meaning Appreciate!

I come to looking for answer of same problem I met. And, My feel is as same as you. I checked Manual for several times and entered game several times, finally, I gave up and come to here. Lucky, I found this answer. We are not in TOP GUN sckool, here is no instructor around me and laughing at me and say: " did you arm?" I can do is looking for answers on Manual, BUT, it is not in Manual , Pity.

I also met TACAN problem also. I saw all above TACAN only works when Chn is default 1 and T/R and A/A both chosen Another time, during my last try, I made it work to me! guess what? I thought maybe the PC havn't recognized the default :T/R :X, so I switch them to other settings then switch back, try to let PC confirm or recognize, just when I switch :X to :Y ,TACAN works, But in mission editor, X is in gray color and can not be changed, so I have no choice leave it at X that means in editor setting is 1X(even in editor I can do nothing to X) in cockpit TACAN works at 1Y hope helpful for ED maybe miss steps in menu? maybe a bug? Hope let me know which part and how many conditions need to be met to let TACAN work. BTW, friend YODA967, Your mission is start from ramp ? or start and runway or somthing else? I ask because in the mission I made F18 is start from " takeoff from carrier" (a default start ) maybe you did any cold start step, connected to TACAN and the menu didn't print and make me miss some step? my DCS is 2.5.2.1.8.... update last night. hope use TACAN ASAP thank you

Hahaha I did the same as you did, but , just for few hour. I gave up. IT is hard time really. So I change the functions to another 2position switch. Obviously, that is not the correct way to react with game thruttle. hope It can be fix

ON F/A-18C, is Any switch on HOTAS or Throttle grip can adjust the shown distance for the radar page on DDI ? 5 10 20 40 80 160 Many other fighters function like, shown range change with the TDC move or a HOTAS switch on HOTAS system( stick or throttle grip) any on F/A-18 ?

Thank you for your reply! I know what you said above. What happened to me is out of the situation. Launch bar is up. It happened occationaly. Few minutes before, it happened just after I touch down on Carrier and raise the hook. At afternoon, it happen on land taxing and runway.

Today, I use a Thrustmaster Throttle TWCs. I set the little finger axie for Rader antenna elevator's axie. But the elevator move up or down but won't stop, except the TWCs axie is precisely at the middle position, which means I can only guess and try, the Axie works like a 2-position switch. The axie on my throttle is fine and works good in DCS Mig21 M2000 and other planes. How?

Same to me! did I made a mistake? or a bug? And, what is the button function proposed to? Press HI release Normal ? or Press&Release HI Press&release Normal?
