This started awhile back, but now when I want to play DCS I have to skip through all the modules I don't own just o play the game. How do I stop this. It makes me not even want to play, as each window takes 30 seconds to pop up after I select "skip" on the previous one.

I ran an update on both through command line and now it works. TY!!!

Hey all, Im trying to set up a server that my son and I can connect to so I can teach him DCS, but no matter what I do I CANNOT see the server I set up on MY PC, on his. I have port forwarded 10308, I have made new fire wall exceptions for 10308 incoming and outgoing. I have even straight up turned off the firewalls to test. His PC can see MP servers and connect to others just fine, it just cant see mine. Two separate accounts, and everything. Any help would be appreciated. Michael.

Thanks for the response, I indeed installed the latest and greatest drivers to no avail. However, I do remember when trying to update to the latest 2.1.0 I had to restart my PC in the middle of it (Power outage). I have a feeling that played a part. So, I bit the bullet and reinstalled the entire alpha and WHALLA!!! VR works again!! Make clean, make FTW!!! Though now I need to redo all my controls which is a bummer.

I start the game, without steam vr running, the game then gets into the loading splash screen and the frame rate drops to below 1fps, then locks up completely in between 20-40% load complete. Confined to still work perfectly in 1.5 and all other VR applications. its JUST 2.1.0 since this last Normandy patch. anyone else??

Stupid question, are all these LUA files for the TARGET profiler? Or are they just straight up loadable through the in game mapper?

So, I have acquired an F-18 throttle, but its an old one, it has a 37 pin female connector and I need to figure out how to convert it to USB. Does a connector like that even exist?

Hey Cowboy, I jsut got my DK2 in the mail, and am switching my DCS world install back from steam. Is it just plug and play? What thing sso I need to do to get it working?

The mistake that alot of people are making right now is that you are getting stuck behind the Oculus's current limitations. The product released is the DEVELOPER KIT. No way shape or form the final product. So not supporting it becasue you cant see the keyboard is down right silly. Not to mention short sighted. there are already mods for the rift that incorperate cameras to allow you to see the outside world at the touch of a button. But by the time that is released you will be behind the curve because you didnt do enough research into what the current Rift is, or what the future rift will be. All this product needs for integration is a pre warp shader, and a program to tie into the tracking info coming from the rift. THATS IT. So to say were not going to support because it doesnt have X or Y in the DEV version is just silly. So devs, take a minute go the MTBS forums and just watch all the mods being made for the rift. The best ones are going to be part of the consumer version. And the fact the DCS supports it will drive a lot of people towards the DCS series. What you can gain for the minimal amount of work you have to do is off the charts.

I have set up some P-51 AI loaded to bear with rockets and bombs to go towards some enemy ground units, but they just fly over them, and occasionally drop a bomb way off target. I have tried setting a waypoint and an action for them to "Bomb", but its seems they will only engage the point at which the waypoint lays and not any actual targets near that area. :helpsmilie:

Yeah the stall shake is VERY valuable, But I still would love a little vibrate when getting hit or shooting. just a little. Im still trying to justify the Buttkicker.
