  1. Any word on updated documentation? I honestly haven't looked in the install folder yet, but a Google search turned up nothing.
  2. I believe the proper procedure is a bit more complex. For it to be effective you want to turn off the air source and slow down at least. The natops manual ought to have a full procedure but I haven't looked for the A model. I have noticed the temp reduce after using the extinguisher.
  3. I successfully followed the procedure for TACAN INS fix on Fly and Wire a few weeks ago. It's well written. Make sure you're entering the details for your desired TACAN station into the CAP too. https://flyandwire.com/2019/07/12/f-14-ins-tacan-update/
  4. I believe missile prep is in fence checks as a confirmation. It should already be on as said before, but you better make sure anyway.
  5. On that note what we really need is for the CBs to be fully implemented.
  6. Your maneuvering (employed via the DLC axis) flaps will retract automatically without breaking, and that is exactly what they're designed for. Are you asking to prevent people from limiting the range of their axis or stop the flaps from breaking? Your manual flaps are the ones DCS people use to "gain the upper hand". If you limit the range of output of the axis... Why not just use the maneuvering flaps in the first place?
  7. Yeah np. Not sure about the TCS thing. Does he continue to make verbal callouts?
  8. Well it's possible what you're doing could or could have worked, but it's not advertised that way. Give it a try and see.
  9. Even with Vaicom pro, you must push 'a' to finalize eyeballs and head control. Only after that can you command him to designate. The Vaicom command is "designate", but there is no Vaicom command for the a key.
  10. Your finalizing the head control and eyeballs with the a key right? And, for the sake of being thorough, designate and track designation are separate commands. You probably knew that. You're right that select paveways does both correctly. I would drop the 3456 step and test with just select paveways. If you watch carefully you should see the lower right coordinates change every time you or jester designates.
  11. Is it proper to select 3, 4, 5, 6 when you can only have 2 GBU-10s? Would the release system release 4 and 5 first, thereby doing nothing?
  12. That last bit is expected I think. Eyeballs and head control do not create a new designation. They just slew the pod. You have to either tell jester to designate or tell him to search for X, which he will then designate on his own.
  13. I think I see what's happening. You do fully retard the throttle when you start your brake. That is only to slow down though. As you approach on speed during your downwind, you'll have to throttle up again to keep on speed. Just follow the aoa indicators adjusting throttle to keep level at 600'.
  14. That rollover is probably happening when you're too slow. It is difficult to control slow. I correct slow quickly though as it is dangerous. Rudder input can help manage the roll if you find yourself too slow through.
