that's really bad advice to be honest, the autopilot is there for a reason, but since this is just a sim people can fly however they want though...

I once lost my whole tail section, the chopper was really hard to fly but I still made it back to the FARP. It looked like a potato with rotors attached to the top lol.

If you just want to show off the game then play the tracks that come with the game, they are pretty interesting looking.

The human eye has way higher resolution than you could get with a computer screen Dave, so in real life it's not as bad as in the sim.

I don't know if you can ask for clearance to land but you can definitely rearm and refuel in them.

Hell yeah, I'd love to have transport helicopters. ED is never going to develop such a sim though, it'd have to be a mod or something.

You are supposed to just install the 1.0.1a patch if you have a clean install, if you installed the 1.0.1 patch then you need to use the hot fix patch. But since you are from the USA you shouldn't really even need to install the hotfix because it just fixes a problem for users from other countries.

Thanks ED, but the formats bug is really annoying, I have the English version but I live in Venezuela, I don't want to use UK or US settings...

is this problem only with Vista or with XP too?
