I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling then restarting my computer and that doesn't work. and In the tutorial, I had the throttle at o and I only messed with those switches because right alt+home wasn't working. Thanks, J

Hello, I just installed DCS a10c v1.1.0.9 on my pc and activated it. Then I set up some HOTAS controls and went to the startup training mission. I followed all instructions to the letter but when it said to start the left engine W/ right alt+home but that didn't do anything. So I wnt back to the controls and setup F11 & F12 to do the manual ignition switches above the APU, I then tried again to start the aircraft and that again didn't work, so I again went to the settings and all it showed were the view controls it is in a10c sim controls and set to all so I don't know what to do with either the controls or the engines. Please help, J

Hello, As the title states is it possible to not have world on my pc and have A10c as a standalone? I found the disc on eBay but the seller said that it needed world. This didn't make much sense to me so I decided to verify as world wont work on my pc(no internet) and I really want a10c. Thanks all, J :pilotfly:

my problem is that it won't even start. so I did was: I got the installer from the above post downloaded it onto my laptop moved it to my desktop ran the installer installed into program files tried to open It then showed a windows error saying can't resolve host name clicked X tried again 5x tried to share internet from my phone via USB cord (failed) tried again with my phone plugged in it said checking for updates and a little progress bar popped up after a few seconds, It said: Timeout was reached tried again 2x looked online for ideas wrote this post Any ideas? Hello again, I don't have access to the internet on my pc that I am going to install DCS world on and I have been trying to get it to open but it just won't because it says "couldn't resolve host name"(A.K.A. you need internet) so any ideas? Thanks, Jamie

Ok, I thought world and a10c were completely different applications but is a10c an expansion pack for world? Thanks, Jamie P.S. I will be using trackir so I don't know if that interferes with the fps.

it's an old office desktop and I plan on mostly just flying around and putting in a max of maybe ten(enemy) tanks in a convoy and a single(friendly) wingman. any recommendations on not that expensive upgrades to my computer to make it run better? Thanks, Jamie
