Today DCS World announced that weather-wise clouds would come "with appropriate line-of-sight blocking.", does this mean that AI will not be able to see through clouds as well?

Content, modules are great in DCS but it would be nice to get this fixed... (one year later than original post}

Hi Draconus, thanks for the reply, I will check that out. Today however I did a Hot Start on the ramp and everything worked fine. I seem to only have this problem during a cold start. Hi Cobra847, maybe you can help me. Honestly, I don't know anything about filing out a bug report, call me an old fart. I always do an assisted start with Jester and today I noticed that Jester didn't initiate a fine alignment which means no steerpoints/range. I am flying on the Mariannas map too. Could that also be why some bomb modes don't work? Is it possible to tell Jester to do a fine alignment via the Jester menu? For some reason, when I'm on the ground via the Jester menu I only get Navigation ---> Tacan. I can't find any reference to fine alignment. Parking break is always on. Help???

F-14 A steerpoints are not working. or at least randomly work/ don't work. Bomb modes also don't work, neither does the manual gun ; symbology bombs/gun not working.

Anybody know when this will be fixed? So many WW2 pilots owed their lives diving in those clouds. It really would add a realistic touch to DCS. I've broken off many a fight diving thru the cloud cause I'm low on gas or blew my ammo to find the bloody bat outta hell on my six!!!

In its current state, a Vietnam map would be a huge project to tackle. That is a lot of trees and jungle but wouldn't it make sense to do Korea then. I'm all for that considering that it is "the forgotten war" and continues to be so even in the media and elsewhere... hint hint... Point is, if they can do the South Atlantic map, they should be able to do Korea, no?

Need Khorat Air Base and Takhli Air Base in Thailand. The map would have to be complete to do it justice. That is, Saigon(Bien Hoa Air base), south Vietnam, a large part of the Tonkin Gulf for carrier ops, Laos (refueling), Cambodia, and North Vietnam all the way to at least one base in southern China where Migs conducted some of their ops. Just my two cents...would be a huge undertaking but man would that be nice...

Thanks for your input. You are right, stick is short and feels unnatural. FFB I have found out IS actually already preset, no fine tuning necessary. Everything seems fine now, trim included. Autopilot works as advertised. Thanks again, sorry for the late reply.
