I bought the SE roughly when it first came out, but I’ve never used it at all, along with about 5 other modules because I’ve been really busy. However, I have faith that things will work out between ed and razbam and if not, it’s good to hear that refunds will be issued points wise. I don’t want a refund, I want a Strike Eagle and problems like this could make people think twice before buying 3rd party modules. I couldn’t handle another Hawk T2 like situation, but I have faith that things will work themselves out.

I don’t post often, but I’m disheartened to hear about problems between both Razbam and Eagle Dynamics, however, Razbam being one of the best module makers for DCS out there, I have faith that they will not abandon their products. I don’t know what the problems are and who is to blame if anyone, but I’m sure things can be worked out amicably.
If whatever the problem are and if they can’t be worked out, then shame on both of them. I don’t know what the actual problem is and don’t care as it’s none of my business, however at the end of the day Razbam needs ED and ED needs Razbam. It’s as simple as that, as people won’t buy modules if they knew they would not get any bug fixes for them.
Anyway, thats my tuppence regarding the subject and I have my fingers crossed for a speedy resolution to this matter.

I never noticed this thread earlier as I would of posted my post here instead.
My re’post goes like this.
Before I start writing this post, I’m not affiliated with any third party hard or software company’s. I’m just posting what I think are very good quality products.
So lets begin;
I have just purchased an extended 10cm extension for my warthog stick and also 3 dust covers and 3 remove before flight tags.
My dust covers and tags are for my extended stick and another is for the throttle and a third is for my tpr rudder pedals. The quality of the products are excellent, that goes for the dust covers, the extension, and also cable inside the extension.
Those cables are the best one’s that I have ever used, all the other cables I have, they either don’t work or they work for a short time before they need to reseated. I have owned many third party cables before and non of them come close to his cables, they are the perfect size easily attached with no real problems, unlike the other three that I have.
In my opinion, the quality of his products are so good that I’m going to buy another extension for my spare A10 stick base and then add my F18 stick on top, as an extension makes flying much more precise, and, I think everyone should have an extension added to their thrustmaster warthog hotas, except those who use their hotas on a desk top. For those people, a desk mount would add much more control and with more precise movements.
I currently use the long monstertech deskmount for the warthog. As the short deskmount will not support an extension, I don’t think, but monstertech are pricey since the uk exited brexit, but they are also excellent quality
As I said at the top, I’m not affiliated with any company or person, I’m merely telling folk that what I bought, that I was very impressed with the quality of them, that goes out to both companies

Why does everyones screen shots and videos look better than mine ? I run a system with just dcs on a m.2 ssd, i7 6700k OC’d, 32 gig ram and a 3070 ti and dcs at its max looks like dog poop, and I just spent hundreds on getting 90% of the modules I never bought when I last played dcs years ago.

Pitch and Roll Trim doesn’t work for me at all, I’m using the F18 thrustmaster stick for my warthog base. It’s not a key binding problem as I cleared all the key binds for the trim settings and then re-added them using the hat thats meant to be used for trimming, the hat works in every other aircraft and even in the f18 if its used to bind something else.
Looks like I have got alot of reading up to do, or if its a bug, maybe somebody can let me know.

Agreed, a system like il2 bos or rise of flight would be good where you have an account and you need to sign in before you play and all your purchases are available that way.
None of this activation/deactivation malarky for each and every aircraft and module.
A simple user account and password and auth server would suffice.

Buy a cheap £/$ 5-10 usb hub so you can buy a warthog and plug it into that and then just plug the hub into your pc, just one usb port needed that way.

Activations are a pain.
They should change the system to something similar to rise of flight or il2 battle of stalingrad where you buy whatever and its attached to your username account and when launching dcs it should force people to login first even if you are just playing single player.
That way their would be no need for activations, just a username and pw would suffice.
Too many problems related to lost activations or the sim suddenly asking to reactivate a module thats already been activated.
Its just a pain that isnt needed if an account system was implemented properly and forced everyone to sign in online before they could play.

Nice video, one thing I dont think is realistic and this is nothing to do with the video, its the 109 props bending in mid air after the aircraft got shot, the props bending like it had a crash landing.
Damage modelling problem ? Unless it happens in real life ? but overall I enjoyed the movie and the music went well.

Never knew that trick, ahwell I fixed it by disabling the spring force in simffb i think its called, so it has done the same thing but the tape trick will come in handy for games that simffb dont work on.

Just purchased a module and I never got the bonus $12.
It was the albatross module I bought as I was gunna buy the gazelle with the extra $12 bonus but not doing it now.
I had $54 bonus, used $36 for the albatross which then leaves $18 bonus, buying the albatross which gives you a $12 purchase bonus I should now have $40 of bonus total but I only have $18 ?
EDIT;
Nevermind, bonuses are not granted for purchases paid with partial bonus payment. That explains the missing 12 bux, ahwell not to worry.

Finally figured it out, i had to disable the spring feedback feature as that was making the stick always recentre when the sensor beam was broken, which inturn made flying not good.
So, a quick swap axis and turn spring all the way down to 0 in ffsim app and boom, am now shooting peeps in the face again but my tir is down, just waiting for a replacement so i can get fully back into the game.
Glad I finally figured out the recentre problem, also thanks to the peeps who suggested to swap axis.
