Thanks for this, it made the map enjoyable again. Most of the shimmering i saw is gone :)

I put 8196 into the "size of shadowmap" for the "high" preset (replacing the default 3072). Both for the Nevada part and for the default part. Then choose "high" for my shadow setting in game. It's getting overwritten each update, so you have redo it when updating.
