  1. Hi, I’ve been experimenting with quad view and have it working, but have a few questions. when using the eye gaze debug mode I don’t see the purple dots in the centre of where I’m looking, but they are a bit below my centre focus. At least so far below that it made me think something was wrong with eye tracking calibration. The experience is good though and if I hadn’t tried the eye gaze mode I don’t think I would have thought about it. Is this how it is supposed to be? Secondly adjusting resolutions, both in focus area and/or general (maximum vs balanced in pimax play) does not seem to make that much of a difference as far as fps is concerned? This is compared to what I experience when not using DFR and I adjust the resolution up or down. Granted I haven’t done a thorough or thoughtful test yet. That said the clarity in the centre focus area is amazing. So amazing that I tried to sacrifice a bit of clarity to see if I could reach 90 fps in my test scenario.
  2. Hmm I got an 8kx, a 12900k and a 4090. I got issues in menues, but also in game with pimaxxr. Shadows is also an issue where when I’m on the ground in the f-16. I have to look directly towards where the shadows are and they pop in and disappear when I look away. I also have no cockpit-shadows. This is with MT. Anyone else get this? I’ve tried to limit fps with the toolkit, but this has no effect. I tried a restart to see that was needed for fps-limiting.
  3. Hi! I don’t have any solutions as I haven’t had the time to experiment with finding a solution, but I see the same with my 8kx. Shuddering, shaking and tracking issues and also issues with shadows with MT. I’m going to try steamvr to see if I get the same experience as you.
  4. Hm ok I’m going to try that. Thanks!
  5. Ok, so if I understand correctly if you have a profile already in use in nvidia control panel for dcs it’s the dcs profile you need to adjust in inspector? I made a new profile called 3d vr and pressed apply settings after doing the mentioned changes as I got the impression that that would do it. Didn’t see any changes. Do I have to “hook” this new profile to the dcs executable or something like that?
  6. Thank you! I only tried it when standing on the runway. Going to try a few flights as well. That said I got a few tips to adjust ipd on the 8kx during the time I’ve had it that people reported increased the 3d effect. Never did anything for me, but then again I’ve never had the problem with worldsize being off either. I wonder if it is because different people combine images in their brain differently? My ipd is around 60. Do you know if there is a way to increase the amount of convergence and/or 3d effect in an exaggerated way?
  7. I tried this on my 8kx. Didn’t see any difference from this. I’ve double checked the settings. OP: what headset do you use?
  8. I went 3dmigoto for the CBU fix and vrperfkit. I think the reshade/sharper eye provides the best visual quality, but avoiding the massive fps drops is a big one for my enjoyment and better performance from vrperfkit is to me the best compromise overall.
  9. Hi, I can't seem to save the changes in with alt + f12. I'm also not able to edit and save other settingss file like the ones in vr perfkit from fHolger when it is in the dcs/bin folder. I have to copy the file to desktop, make the changes and then copy it back in. (i've tried to change status on the folder and I constantly get asked for administrator confirmation while doing this. Might this have anything to do with it?
  10. I use 3dmigimoto, but the only thing I I’ve activated (knowingly) is the shader fix that helps a lot with massive fps drops when bombs and explosions go off.
  11. Gratz man! I hope the process through customs will be easier for others than what you had to contend with.
  12. I just tried process lasso. I didn’t change much other than I right clicked the dcs process and turned of hyperthreading. That seemed to help quite a bit for me. I haven’t done a measurement, but it also seems to reduce stutters on my end. There was some automatic optimisation active as well so not sure what’s what here, but I believe it is known that turning of hyperthreading helps with dcs performance and being able to do that just for DCS is easier than turning it on/of in bios I’d say.
