  1. Thanks for the responses guys, much appreciated.
  2. Afternoon all, We are an Air Cadet squadron based in North Wales (UK) and part of our activities include going to local shows etc. at which point we pack up our twin seat D-Box platform simulator and let a load of strangers have a great experience flying an F16 in VR. But this is usually people who know how a joystick works and have the very basics in piloting skills, we (the Staff) sit in seat two and talk them through things. Now, with twin seaters becoming more prominent, this opens up lots more opportunities for those who can't fly (or to scared to try) to sit in seat 2, put the VR headset on and let their friends/ family members or even one of our Staff members, fly them around in an F15/ F14 or another twin seat aircraft. But, we have a problem, and that is, that when we go to these places, they don't have internet, so is there a solution whereby PC1 can host, and PC2 can link directly to it via a network switch, which will also connect to DCS for license verification for both PC's? As I understand it with MP, as it stands, both PC's will need a dedicated internet connection to the DCS server, meaning that we'd have to get 4G routers and aerials etc, and then there's the throughput, some of the places we go too have quite a few people attending and the signal can be quite weak. Any information will be greatly appreciated. Many thanks Mike
  3. Thanks for your responses guys, much appreciated. A whole raft of doors have just opened with this knowledge and I'm like a kid in a sweet shop
  4. Thanks dark_wood, I'm going to ask a very silly question now . . . . From a logic point of view, does each line after the first within the condition box assign a hidden "and" that stacks the logic, put another way, if I say . . . Trigger - 3 Switched Condition - Low Fly Breach Condition line 1 = Flag True (flag 25) - Unit is within low fly zone Condition line 2 = Units AGL Higher Than - (151m or 500ft) Action = Sound to All -(Klaxon Sound) Does this mean that the first condition is stating that flag 25 must be on And that the second condition relates to the first condition in that, flag 25 must be on AND units AGL must be higher than 500ft before the action will take place?
  5. Hi all, I have been putting together a little competition for our cadet wing, whereby the pilot will follow cues from smoke markers and complete the flight plan in a certain time. Got the smoke markers working perfectly, with additional audio announcements that I make using text to speech, the problem I have is setting a height limit from one waypoint to another half way round the flight plan, where if the pilot flies above an altitude of 500ft AGL, I'll have a repetitive action that will play a sound when ever the 500ft AGL is breached. There is a rectangular zone I have set up for the low fly zone, so basically what I want is a condition within a condition. I've set a condition where when the pilot "Unit Inside Zone" a flag is turned on . . . . I've also got a second zone at the end of the low fly zone to trigger "Unit Inside Zone" the above flag is turned off . . . . My question is, how do I then set up a trigger so it does the following? When flag "x" is on (Unit is inside low fly zone), "Unit Altitude Above AGL", "Play Sound to All" Any assistance will be greatly appreciated. Mike
  6. Cheers Razo+r , had a run through the mission (3 hrs worth) and not a single hiccup with the landings, everything working a treat so thanks once again.
  7. I'll give that a go and get back to you. Cheers mate
  8. Not got the A4 Mod, but I do have a the AC130 mod, and a couple of texture mods also.
  9. Hi all, Not sure if this is a repetitive post, but I can't seem to find an answer while searching on the subject. Sometimes, and for some reason, whilst trying to land an aircraft, my aircraft goes through the runway into middle earth and an underwater lake, so I pull up, power on and climb back through the runway into the sky again. Noticing it more with the F16 than any other aircraft, but it also happens in F15 and F18. Is this a common thing or is it just my machine? More importantly, is there a fix for this? Thanks in advance. Mike
  10. Apologies if this has already been asked but this is frustrating the hell out me. Up till around two days ago, everything was working fine, then all of a sudden, the little mouse button on the throttle and mini joystick stopped working? I have gone into the controller settings to test the connectivity and they are both working fine! Has anyone else had the same issue and is there a fix for this? Thanks in advance.
  11. Many thanks for the update QuiGon, thats great news, I can feel an download coming!
  12. Hi guys, Apologies if this has been asked previous, I have searched through various threads and topics to find an answer however I can't seem to find one. Does anyone know (roughly) when the Viper will be released onto the stable version if it isn't already? We have a D-Box platform that only works with the stable version of DCS and don't want to purchase the Viper if we can't really use it. Thanks in advance.
  13. Sent you a personal email Joey.
  14. You're a star Joey What are you going to need? Crest artwork, crest location, F15 template and preferred tail code letters?
  15. Good afternoon all, We use DCS world at our Air Cadet's squadron in the UK, we have a squadron crest that we would like to put on an F15C which is our aircraft of choice for giving the cadets experience of the principles of flight, and as well as the crest we would like to change the tail code to two letters of our choosing. What we would like to achieve is to have a specific F15C in the drop down window (of the load out screen) that is unique to our squadron. I have seen a couple of tutorials that (in all honesty) go way over my head as to where to even start, and the major issue is, that we just don't have the software in order to carry out the process. My question is: Is there a genius on here that finds this work a piece of cake that could do this for us if I was to send over the details/ artwork? If there is a fee, then please let me know the cost and I will run it past our charity committee and get the ball rolling. Thanks in advance. Mike
