Did you check the Performance setting like the first reply suggested? That's what it sounds like to me. NVIDIA drivers default to optimal performance and most games run fine with that, but games like DCS don't trigger the card to ramp up clocks properly I've found unless you go in to Nvidia settings and choose prefer maximum performance as mentioned. After you do that you should notice your idle Temps rise a bit but that's fine and DCS will fly.

I'm almost scared to see how this performs when my Vive Pro arrives. :music_whistling:

Did my 1.5 open beta just technically turn into the full release version? Can't I just use it as my main now and delete 1.2? I prefer to keep using 1.5 where the open beta was. I'm lazy and it seems to work fine. Will it keep updating though? ;)

I installed DCS 1.5, and while I was installing the modules one by one, I tried to install the Black Shark campaign DLC before I installed the Black Shark 2 module. I had some kind of error, but now I can't see the campaign or the option to reinstall the campaign DLC. Any ideas on a quick fix?

The pilot profession is dying. Airlines need to pay peanuts to their crews in order to stay competitive. Flying is becoming much more automated anyways. In the future, human pilots will not even be required and forcing airlines to have to spend more on pilot wages will only accelerate this transition.

Join the Air Cadets if you're not too old, play sports/be fit, get good grades and apply for military college. If you're lucky, you'll then be put on the path of being a fighter jock. :joystick:

No. Mantle is a propriety marketing gimmick to sell AMD video cards. Looking at just the g-meter, the physics during the takeoff and landing roll are definitely still ridiculous.

Amazing that it took so long for the Flanker out of all planes to get some love from ED. Finally!
