need evidence F1 EE flight model tweaks coming?
Dustband replied to Harley Davidson's topic in DCS: Mirage F1
Could you be more specific, like what angle of AoA they said, what the weight of the aircraft was and what flight regimes? And with a cited primary sources to back it up? If that is not possible for privacy reasons, let the pilots try the DCS module and contact Aerges themselves with what parts are wrong. Vague statements like "The flight model is wrong, ask 'people' " is wasting everybody's time.- 59 replies

I hope Eagle Dynamics will soon release their "part 2" interview with him, to honor this brave and interesting man.- 37 replies

According to the interview with the Luftwaffe Eurofighter pilot in the Fighter Pilot Podcast, they are only using GPS and Laser-guided weapons. The canards block the pilot from having a good view of ground targets for traditional bombing runs, so they're not using general purpose bombs like the Mk83/84. That was quite an interesting tidbit of information.

Will you expect any other opinion than "OmG BuY iT YaSsSsSs" and if so, what is your foundation?

If you are unsure of which module to buy, and if the F-14 is worth it, you can trial each module for two weeks through the free trial program before deciding on making a purchase. That way, you can find out about the F-14 AI yourself https://www.digitalcombatsimulator.com/en/personal/licensing/trial/

I really hope they will finish the CE first since it's so rough around the edges, and that the screenshot is only a christmas tease...

Ah yes, apparently my throttle wasn't calibrated properly, thanks for the help!

Just tried starting up the M2000 and almost immediately the engine starts smoking and ends up in a fireball. I went through my checklist, Chuck's guide and the manual and I can't see what i'm doing wrong. BP, BP.G and BP.D caution lights are all off, but as soon as I push the throttle forward after 10% idle, I see the Tt.7 temperature go in the red and the engine catches fire. What am I doing wrong? (In the track, the engine start procedure begins after 16 min) fire2.trk

This is what the AZ manual says about it on p.71, so it is pretty much what Snappy said about it. https://imgur.com/a/dmgOtU9

Currently the https://www.digitalcombatsimulator.com/en/files/ don't have a Mirage F1 filter, it would be nice to be able to filter mods for that specific airframe

I actually think the M2000C is one of the worst manuals out there. Not only is it still unfinished after 6 years, it also gives the wrong information and lacks in concisiveness. When you need to Google your way trough a module, that's not good. The C-101 manual was really good, and I really hope Aerges will go that direction instead of the Razbam direction.

@shadepiece You should look into the music of Vangelis and Robert Miles, it is the same genre The riff is almost identical to a eurohouse song from that era which lies on the tip of my tongue, but I can't get to it. EDIT: Nevermind the last sentence, I was thinking of Parada de Tettas

Where has he written that he expects campaign/single missions right out of the gate? But hey, why be friendly and respectful when you can also kick someone and be a tough guy on the internet...

Do you have a source for that? Or any ground of foundation?

Thanks for commemorating that special day. Could you share the name of the book?
