  1. A MiG-29. Didn't see that coming. Or an Iraq map. Well. Gotta start saving up!
  2. I'm guessing the F/A-18C will be easiest since it has advanced fly-by-wire, therefor it's relatively easy to fly in a stable manner.
  3. Hello @BIGNEWY and/or colleagues, Recently I've bought a new phone, and stupid as I am, I forgot to backup my authenticator app. So now I can't login to digitalcombatsimulator.com anymore, because I can't generate a key. I've already sent an e-mail to support@digitalcombatsimulator.com but unfortunately I still haven't heard anything back even though my request was accepted. Can you help me please? My ticket number is 147995. Thanks in advance! Rob / dawgie79
  4. DCS is not for everyone. Clearly it's not for you. No harm, no foul.
  5. One should not edit the Windows Registry so lighty. Better to use to command to make the CPU Power settings visible: "powercfg -attributes 54533251-82be-4824-96c1-47b60b740d00 0cc5b647-c1df-4637-891a-dec35c318583 -ATTRIB_HIDE" in a Command Prompt which runs as administrator! Then go to the Power Options (Win+R -> type "control panel" -> Hardware & Sound -> Power Options), change plan settings -> change advanced power settings -> Processor power management -> Processor performance core parking min cores 100%. Again, one should not edit the registry if it's not needed. And most of the times it's not really needed, often it's a shortcut but in the wrong way. Do with this what you want.
  6. Not to hijack this thread, but do you mean something like this, @dburne? It''s the same mission as you only edited a bit. Chief told me too chocks were removed, until I changed view and saw they were still there, in flight.
  7. Better to post a screenshot from the Task Manager, while in DCS MT as well as DCS MT VR, the settings your posted tell pretty much nothing in regard to performance. At least that's my opinion. DCS performance is not solely dependant on fancy hardware. But I seem to be alone in this view, I've noticed.
  8. Since 2.9 I have wheelchocks in-flight. Even though I requested the chief to remove them, which he confirmed.
  9. There are tooltips already with explanations? Just hover over the text in stead of the pulldown menu's and such.
  10. in a commandline, navigate to your dcs bin folder and type in the following: dcs_updater update @openbeta <enter>
