  1. Turning your mirror off helps with the issue until it is resolved.
  2. I launched the server updater and it updates to latest version but does not pull the map as part of the update. I also ran updater as part of the command line even specific for sinai terrain and no luck.

  4. Just started happening with the latest 2.8.4.39313 patch. When multiplayer is selected from the main screen the multiplayer screen loads and server list populates. When selecting Map drop down nothing changes, when selecting exit or close window x in upper right corner nothing happens. When selecting Join nothing happens. Selecting servers on the list seems normal and they do highlight. I did patch tonight and then fly in multiplayer for a bit then shutdown and came back a little over an hour later to this issue. No crash log is available and only way to kill DCS is via task manager.

As a longtime DCS driver and mission builder I would like the clients in MP or even single player missions as an option to be able to plan and route themselves with a something along the lines of lighter functionality of the mission planner. I've built completely scripted mission plans to totally open missions to let users plan their own routes (but painful). There should be the option for folks to just jump in a jet and fly but for those that want to plan their own routes and load targets to do so. It would also save mission builders a lot of time in not having to consider routing, etc. Folks may or may not realize that it takes many hours to successfully plan and execute a single sortie and done the right way in DCS it can take minutes but I'd rather give the user to route themselves as a better option than the mission builders.
  6. Not sure if this is Heatblur or someones else's issue but you cannot select FAC as task type for F-14. This should be available as one of the task types as this aircraft performed this role during second gulf war. VF-154 was deployed specifically to perform AFAC and it was extremely successful.

  8. This is possible as on subsequent flights I did not run into this issue. I did keep the weapons in PRE mode vs VIS though.

The issue is when dropping applicable ordinance (GBU-39, CBU-105) in VIS mode and then trying to switching to other A-G ordinance (GBU-12s, etc..), the drop modes the system only stays in VIS mode and will not let you switch to CCRP, CCIP, etc... Example: Load out was CBU-105's & GBU-12's, I dropped my 105's in VIS then switch to GBU-12's, the only mode available VIS and cannot select CCRP.
  10. So in WAGS video he mentions TDC cursor slew select switch to align HMCS. Anyone know off chance what the key bind for this is called because nothing shows up in the list?
  11. So in WAGS ATGM video he unlocks the pilots HUD and lowers the glass by a keyboard command any chance anyone knows what that is?
  12. I think is was more of a design thing for the patch to show it doing ECM. There was never anything designed or built for wingtip ECM pods for the F-16CJ.
  13. I'm not sure, I do run my game with max settings though. Maybe resolution of HB_F14_LOD1_3in1.dds file? I don't change the resolution on my repaints just reduce the canvas size when I insert into HB_F14_LOD1_3in1 file.

  15. I can confirm that it is named: HB_F14_EXT_DROPTANK.dds I'm also saving it as dds with BC7. So here is what is really strange. In game No drop tank liveries show for any aircraft of the aircraft that have them. I checked the description.lua and the entries are there. I think I have a much larger issue.
  16. Need some help... My drop tanks will not show after saving and looking into a bit further none of my drop tanks show for any aircraft. I checked the description.lua and the original line reads: {"HB_F14_EXT_DROPTANKS", 0 ,"HB_F14_EXT_DROPTANK",false}; I noticed that it says DROPTANKS with an S at the end but the file is DROPTANK. So I changed and saved and still nothing.
  17. Doing some night flying and HSI is unreadable, adjusted lighting to different levels and no change. Also see some red pixels around ALT REL button noticeable.
  18. F-16 Issues After 6/3 Update 1.HUD is very light on the brightness even when turned all the way up as well as HMCS. 2. Steer point does not show on HUD when selected. 3. TGP: BHOT and TV modes are too bright and unusable. 4. CCRP bomb fall line does not line up in HUD and no drop cue or timer. P.S. Please add key bind for ejection safety lever.
  19. Good Morning ED! I would first like to say fine job on the Supercarrier! I have a few observations from my years working as a yellow shirt (director) on the deck. The Shooter: Typically when the shooter is on deck the launch bubbles are down for the cats. When the shooters are not on deck they reside in the bubbles during bad weather and if they don't need to freeze their parts off :D. In that case the yellow shirt will give full power signal and pass off to the bubble with a thumbs up and hold it until the aircraft is launched. There are also certain hatches open on the deck regardless between the cats and folks man certain positions on the catwalks. The Directors: So if you want to add another level of realism the deck is divided up into three areas Fly 1, 2, 3 and the yellow shirts typically stay and work in their areas. Fly 1 is Cats 1-2, Fly 2 is Cats 3-4 and Fly 3 is the back end. Sometimes you get some guys working Fly 3 working on Cat 4 to spread the love of launching. The arresting gear cable guy. So there is a guy that uses a bar when the cable is retracting on the island side that pushes the cable back into the landing area so it doesn't whip out past the foul line on retraction. It would be cool to have him come out and stand next to the foul line when someone is on approach. Since the Cat 3/4 guys scurry away. Just a few bits of observations and just throwing some ideas out. I would also love one day to see the Tilly! :-)

  21. The short answer is no. You should be dropping LGB in CCRP mode.
  22. Just a few things I noticed.... Enemy contacts on SA page show very faint red when MFD is set to night. Cross hairs on FLIR page do not dim when MFD set to night. On HSI page heading tick is not dimmed but other items on MFD are. ON EW page when multiple contact overlap the text is bright and not dim. When aircraft was beyond 190nm from CVN I switched from TGT way point to TCN and range and bearing to CVN went crazy jumping all over the place. I could cycle TCN and it would go normal for a few seconds then go crazy again. Once I was on the correct bearing the range would not decrease. Cycled TCN again started working normally.
