  1. if it is NOT a security issue which might end up in some Lawsuit closing down the whole company - I beg ED to make the game even more accessible for 3rd Party developers EXPOSE THE API like RuruoniJones wants it ... beautiful things will happen
  2. +1 to the request It (Overlordbot) adds another, not yet existing Level of immersion. (and for all the comming replies "its just like Voice attack" - you havent been there yet ;) )
  3.:thumbup::thumbup::thumbup: awesome man that was it .... I had a rift s from a friend for two weeks and assigned "VR zoom" on it. YOUR ADVISE WAS GOLD !!! works like a charm now
  4. do u mean when im in the UI , then go to controls and THEN assign the button ? (lets first see if the update changed stuff ;) )
  5. oh, i forgot ... i tried as well to clear the whole Joystick category and remaped every button - no difference
  6. Soooo .... i think i need to clarify. getting a little cocky here - please dont take it personally. I probably have around 20-30 hours in the DCS Module "assigning buttons and setting up controls" ... i started DCS when it was Blachshark only and we had to do our controls new after every update. that said ... What i tried: I pressed "button 4" (pinky lever on the Warthog stick) and nothing worked. I checked controls - it was assigned I switched to a different control (like another button) and then pressed "Button 4" which brought me back to the "AP disengage / Glimiter bla bla" I thought - ok ... maybe some systems changed and i set up my plane "wrong", which wasnt the case. I then assined a key (namely "x") to the funktion "AP disengage..." - It worked. I thought - ok ... maybe there is a hardwareproblem with my Warthog. I then checked my Hardwaresettings under windows - evry button (including Button4) worked. I calibrated it and checked DCS again. In the "controls" the "button 4" is recognised - but not in the Fa18 ingame cockpit. I repaired DCS. I tried again - no difference. I read up on some post i found on the www ... I checked all my auxiliary programs like Discord, SRS, Ts3 etc etc with which i maybe have "Button 4" mapped to some function - clear I updated my warthog firmware I checked again - still same Problem the "button4" is recognised in the controls, i can assign it to a function by pressing it, works under windows, BUT NOT in the actual ingame cockpit so ... now that u guys know ... im up for further suggestions ;) (In the meantime i use a different button as a workaround which doesnt make me very happy)
  7. Situation: since the last update i cant get the paddleswitch to neither disengage the autopilot nor to override the G-limiter. Question: Does anyone else have this problem ?
  8. awesome mod ... couldnt download the files however. Just created the files and the filestructure and followed the instructions - et voila :D
  9. no to sth totally diffdrent ^^ ... do we get a new mission today with the Focke Wulf 190 A-8 ?
