Agree with others. Clouds look blown out and low quality even in ultra, they bounce/jitter up and down - giving motion sickness. I'm also seeing strange reflections that slowly flicker like a slide show on the canopy(F16). Roll on the next 30 patches...

Ah the memories! I remember playing longbow online with my Dad. You had to type in their phone number and it would dial them directly - God forbid anyone would pick up the phone and lose connection mid game!

The Oculus tray tool has been updated. This has helped when the game started getting choppy, by using 45Hz forced option in the default ASW mode.

I've been having similar issues with the stuttering. Once the stutter starts it persists even out of game in desktop(in VR). The Stutter seems to start when something graphically demanding changes in game like turning on a TV POD or low level with ground detail being viewed etc. Last night when the stutter started and pretty much locked up the game, I clicked pass-through mode on the Rift S controller and then went back into the game and it was instantly smooth! This seems consistent with what other people are doing alt enter and such - Maybe this is somehow resetting the HMD within DCS. I only play multiplayer so don't know if this would happen in single. I believe this to be a DCS issue as I've never experienced it in any other game. Best way to solve most issues like connection and tracking etc is to have a powered USB hub for the Rift S. Worked for me anyway. Update - It seems this might be more related to ASW turning on despite using the tray tool to turn it off. I manually turned it off mid stutter with oculusdebugtoolCLI, using command "server:asw.off" and this did work for me.

First full multiplayer session with Human pilot and Rio without any CTD for a looonnng time! To early to start high fiving.. but it's a good start. Thanks

It's really hard to believe that these crashes are not widespread? as for the unique hardware/setup excuse - I think if you have all the other modules that don't crash and only one does.. logic should prevail. A question I've asked in the CTD thread - Can anyone fly this plane with a human pilot and Rio and not have CTD problems on a regular basis?

(As Human RIO) When the F14 was first released, I had no CTD. After first patching CTD all the time, then it was patched again and it seemed ok for a bit. Since the latest few patches its Back to CTD. My friend is also having identical issues. In Fact I've stopped flying F14 as a Human Rio. I believe this may be the case for many as I'm seeing less and less F14's on the servers. Will submit logs later - but I don't think you will find anything different to what has already been posted. My question is - Can anyone fly this thing with human pilot and human RIO without CTD?

I've had the same issue in multiplayer for a couple of weeks, until last night when I turned off Tacview record session(in special DCS options). It's probably too early to say if this is something - but I had the longest run as pilot and RIO without crashing, once I had turned it off. It seemed to work for a friend who also had the same CTD issue. If you have Tacview installed try turning it off and let us know if it made a difference.

I believe you need to bind 'Mic button ICS' & 'Mic Button UHF 1 & 2' One radio is to transmit between the pilot and RIO through SRS and the other is to transmit across the usual Radio network.

I am having the same issue - always happens when making changes on the TID.

Hi, I had the same issue and I'm not sure if i stumbled across a solution(for me anyway) - but I can now load in without problems(still takes a while). All I did was enabled Tacview to record sessions(in DCS options) that was already installed. Since doing this I can now load in? This maybe something or nothing but worth a try. Update 09/04/19 **Since recent updates - I can now connect with Tacview setting on or off**
