  1. +1 from me. I really hope something like this gets implemented soon.
  2. So here is what I found, Throttle Is from an older post here on the forums. HOTAS is from what I think is a Chinese DCS forum. I have no Idea if these are truly correct or not.
  3. So I searched Su-27 HOTAS diagram instead of stick and throttle and pretty much found what I was looking for. I don't know why I didn't think of that earlier.
  4. Hey everyone I was wondering if I can be pointed in the direction of a stick and throttle diagram for the Su-27/33. Chucks guides usually have a section that tells you what all the buttons are on the stick and throttle for the clicky cockpit aircraft but he doesn't do FC3 so I'm at a loss. I usually like to do my binding based off the the real thing but my google searches have not really turned up anything. I even tried to google translate into Russian and see if I could find something but came up empty.
  5. I'm a bit confused here in regards to the 300 liter external drop tank and the 115 liter aux tank that may be fitted behind the bulkhead according to the ED A-8 manual. Is the aux tank modeled and usable? Also, I have a bit of confusion about the fuel tank pump switchology. The ED manual says when using the drop tank you flip on the external tank pump E16 breaker. However in chucks guides and in several videos I have seen them say to use the aux tank pump breaker E96. So which is it?
  6. Hey guy I'm reading through the 1945 Pilots Operating Instructions for the P-47. In the take-off procedures it says push the interconnected boost and throttle up to 30in/Hg then release breaks and open the throttle to the take-off stop. Is this stop modeled or something we can set a detent for? I was watching old WWII training films and it looks like the throttle on the older model 47's had a release lever to bring the power up in to the emergency zone.
  7. So I am curious how this is modeled in DCS, more so how it is modeled for the F-18. I have been trying to be sneak sneaky on enemy positions on growling sidewinders server and those pesky 18's seem to pick me off no problem with 120's at altitude. Even when I think I am in a "safe" spot, super low, terrain masking and in a hover they still manage to find me no problem.
  8. I'm sorry if this was already answered, but will the Mirage be receiving updated cockpit textures at anytime?
  9. Hello, Yesterday I received my MT-50 CM2 grip. I have been flying on the CM1 / WarBRD base for some time with no problems. I also use a T-50 throttle. I updated to the new VPC software, created new profiles, calibrated everything and verified all function in the VPC Joy tester. However when I load up DCS nothing will bind in the control section. DCS is seeing the profiles as they are labeled the same as in the VPC software but nothing will bind for the controls. However, DCS sees and will bind my rudder peddles just fine. Any suggestions, have I missed something?
  10. Hey guys, so for some reason I cannot get DCS or IL-2 to map anything to any one of the eight push buttons immediately behind the throttles. The Virpil software recognizes them when pushed and so does windows, just cant get anything to work in game. What am I messing up here?
  11. Thats what I figured just wanted to put it out there to double check.
  12. Hello, In both the manual and the cold and dark training mission during the cockpit inspection section it says to make sure both LH/RH afterburner and oil cut-off switches are on. From my experience on means "up". At no point that I can find does it every tell you to reset them. If these switches are up your mil power and afterburner lights will not illuminate and afterburners will not light during power checks. I cannot tell if the oil-cut off switch is actually doing anything as the engine will start in both positions. Is this as intended, am I missing something?
  13. Hey guys, I have the WarBRD base and the T-50 Throttle and absolutely love the build quality. My question is the with metal on metal contact is there a recommended lubricant I could use to minimize wear. Both units feel like there is some sort of lube applied from the factory but its more like a thin film. Maybe machine oil from the machining process. My first thoughts are white lithium grease but I want to be sure.
  14. Roger that, It was probably an error on my part as I went back in to mess around with it a bit more and I got it to release the proper ordinance as advertised, meaning not dropping the rocket pods when delivering bombs. For the life of me I don't know what I was doing wrong in the first place as I followed the same procedures the second time around and it worked properly.
