I've thought about earbuds but could never find any with good enough bass ....what kind do you use?

For me a G2 with wider FOV would be the ticket.... I haven't had any issues either but I zip tied my G2 cable to the headset like the G1. Still kept my G1 for back up just in case but so far smooth sailing (knock on wood) To be honest the G1 was fine and although the G2 is a slight improvement visually for me the best thing about it is the headphone setup. Much nicer than the on the ear of the G1. I took those off and ran headphones.

Just a heads up for those who are on the waiting list ... I got on a week after launch and just got my 3080 FTW a few weeks ago ....good luck hope you get them soon.

I don't think that's the same thing. It's more of a menu.

Start DCS first (or any program that opens Steam VR) and it should open steam VR without the overlay.....

DCS has always had one of the crappiest update download systems ...slow as balls.......nothing new really.

My systems comparable and I have good performance most of the time 45-90 fps and for the most part smooth ...not sure why your not ....that sucks

Didn't do anything for me either ...totally agree with the last part of your post....VR has changed all my simming to a truly enjoyable experience every time I'm in the air or on a track :joystick: :pilotfly:
