  1. @NineLine@BIGNEWY I encountered the bug again today. Any news on this? Are the devs looking into this one?
  2. Hello everyone, we found a work to make VDL work in DCS. Here's a CAS session where we try it out. https://youtu.be/WIQ1J9F8kmM
  3. @NineLine any news on this? The thread is still marked as "missing info".
  4. I tried to trigger the bug in a test mission, but I am unable to actually trigger it at will. The only track files I have that show the bug are those where I landed at the end of very long missions. That probably won't help because of desync.
  5. I was leading the flight back home, so -1 was behind me. There were no other aircraft at that airfield. Turbulence value was set to 3, I believe.
  6. OpenBeta 2.7.1.71390 I am on a short final (Al Minhad RWY 27) after a mission. From the overhead break, turning short final. I am on a stabilised approach. When crossing the runway threshold, suddenly the nose of my aircraft pitches up, without me changing any inputs. I have repeatedly ran into this bug. It does not happen every time and is hard to reproduce. Today it happened at the end of a 2 hour mission, so I cannot add a track replay. Instead I am providing a video recording and my trimmed tacview of the bug. It does not necessarily happen after OHBs, but also on straight-in approaches. From what I could observe, it tends to happen after long missions. It happened to me in Caucasus and PG, on at least three different airfields with different weather conditions. It happend to at least four A-10C pilots in our wing. I talked to a former member of the 476th, and he said that this bug was happening a few years back, then disappeared after it apparently got fixed. Now it seems to be back again, roughly at the time that 2.7 was published. A-10C sudden pitch up on final.zip.acmi Please apologize the language in the video.
  7. I just wanted to log in to my account on digitalcombatsimulator.com to enable 2FA. After entering my credentials, I am redirected to https://www.digitalcombatsimulator.com/de/auth/ and presented with an empty page that says Which translates to Username on the website is the same as here in the forums.
  8. Latest OpenBeta, no mods. Confirmed with Snoopy, Puma and others from the 476th this is a bug. I currently cannot create a track file, will add one later if necessary. Multiple guys from the 476th independently confirmed that they see the same behaviour. HMCS is SOI, slew the HDC to somewhere on the ground, let it ground stabilize. TMS RIGHT short to create a markpoint at HDC location. This creates a markpoint at HMCS B/S (center) location though. I cannot quote the official RL A-10C manual, but it apparently says that when the HMCS is made SOI, and a HDC is displayed in HMD (no Maltese cross, but the cursor), TMS RIGHT short should create a markpoint at HDC, not at the center.
  9. The 617th Virtual Fighter Squadron is once again opening recruitment for new pilots. With currently one pilot still in the Mission Qualification training, and 5 active squadron instructor pilots, we can accomodate more A-10C pilots willing to train in a friendly and very professional environment. If you would like to join, you will find all necessary information here: http://132virtualwing.org/index.php/page/recruiting A-10C on gun run during Type I CAS control, as seen from JTAC. Buddy check on RTB.
  10. We are pleased to announce that we can accept some more pilots for our training program! Recruiting starts here: http://132virtualwing.org/index.php/page/recruiting
  11. The 132nd Virtual Wing is opening recruitment for dedicated A-10C pilots again. Although we train for and fly all mission profiles (AR, SCAR, etc), the focus of our A10 squadron is on Close Air Support featuring human JTACs. After completing your Mission Qualification Training (MQT), we offer CAS qualifications up to and including FAC(A)qualification. If you want to be part of a tightly structured and friendly multiplayer environment that focuses on immersion, realism, and strategy, come and visit us. Our Training days are Wednesdays at 1900z, and on Sundays we have either Training or Combat missions (completion of MQT is required to participate in our Combat Missions). To see us in action, please check out our youtube channel; and give us a visit on our website, where you will find all info you need about the recruitment process. https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCqwGk59cnEPIaeUYGoxqnmA http://132virtualwing.org/ We mainly fly on the Persian Gulf map. Please note that a good level of English, and a proper microphone setup, are mandatory. We looking forward to hearing from you!
  12. Latest Openbeta, no mods. Track here: Track-File AGM-65D sees the targets on the road. IR-contrast is a bit slim, but the vehicles are visible. The Maverick decides to lock on to the light poles left of the road. Those are not even visible in the Maverick sensor. A Maverick should not lock on to something it can't see.
  13. The intersection between 13L and the taxiway at N 24° 18.883 E 054° 32.989 is labelled inconsistently when approaching it from different directions. Along 13L, both left and right exit are labeled G. From the other direction (31R), these are labeled M towards the left and D1 towards the right. Looking from the taxiways to the runway, next to the hold-short lines the signs are labeled D1 and M. Exit G on 13L is therefore labeled incorrectly.
