  1. Fantastic job, people. I'm really looking forward to this aircraft. I've been a WWII aircraft enthusiast since I was 9 and started building plastic models. I remember reading about the Avro Lancaster in WWII comics and I can't believe I'm going to get to fly it in a simulator! Thank you for your amazing effort.
  2. Well if it is support and interest they need: WHERE IS MY MAP?! I WANT MY MAP!! GIVE ME MY MAP!!! I NEEEEEEEEED ITTTTTTTT!!! KOLA KOLA KOLA KOLA! So pretty please can you finish the map so we can fight in the arctic? I'm sure it will be awesome
  3. As I said for the FG-1D, not a photographer and this is from my phone, so it is what it is. Also, it is not a Hellcat but a Wildcat from the lovely WWII collection at the Virginia Military Aviation museum. Allegedly it flies, too. Hats off to the amazing staff and guides at the museum.
  4. I have a few Wildcat pictures from the Virginia Military Aviation museum. Granted, they're not Hellcat pictures, but still. Anyone want to see them?
  5. I'm no photographer and this is from my phone, so take it for what it is. She was a real beauty, massive, and in excellent condition from a visual perspective. Allegedly, she is airworthy and they fly her from time to time. They have a bunch of other nice aircraft there as well. Hats off to Virginia Military Aviation museum.
  6. I've got some pictures of the FG-1D from the Virginia Military Aviation museum. Granted it is the Goodyear version of the F4U but it was pretty neat. Anyone want to see them?
  7. I agree, very well asked. I've experimented with several of the issues mentioned, but I'll wait for the official response and let my observations be just that. I'm so looking forward to getting the remaining functionality of the FCR. The AH64 is an amazing machine once you get to know it.
  8. Well Merry Christmas to everyone! I'm loving this!
  9. I got the same. Also, setting a RNG of less than 1.0 rejects it. I have to set 1.0 or more first, then enter for instance 0.7. Also unable to set altitude of offset. Does not show up on TSD, cannot find point in sequence either. I know, should have save the track. But you know.
  10. @OnReTech: I haven't bought and downloaded the map yet, but it looks impressive and you deserve a lot of credit for your community interaction. Well done. I hope you get your fair share of the revenues and more. Thank you for your effort.
  11. Funny. I used to get sudden frame drops using Steam VR where it'd drop from 35-40 to anything between 2-20. In sheer anger, I'd open task manager and check out the performance page (or whatever it is called) to ID the bottleneck, but as soon as I had that open it'd go right back to 35-40. Switching back to DCS, it'd run smooth as long as I had that page open. Haven't had that problem after MT and switching to Openxr though.
  12. Thank you, dear neighbours! Awesome work. I've had the pleasure of side-seating in one of these and worked a ton with them, fantastic jet. I look forward to trying it in VR. Merry Christmas!
  13. Taaaaakeeee my MONEEEEEH! LOVING IT!
  14. I'm getting the same. George calls the target destroyed but it looks fine. Or I'm CPGing and the targets looks as good as new but BDA says critically damaged or destroyed.
  15. Cool work, Caldera. It is interesting to see, as you say, how effects are simulated in the game. This type of data would help in weaponeering for missions. Don't let the critics and nay-sayers get in the way of curiosity. If we didn't have people like you in the community, we would not catch the slight differences and imperfections in weapon effects. After all, it's just a computer sim made by people. Keep it up.
  16. As the title says, I have a bug to report that only appears in multiplayer. Using Game Master role for Combined Arms, I am able to fire Tomahawks from the Ticonderoga and MLRS easily in single player, but it does not work in multiplayer. I am unable to find any track files to use for a bug report. What should I include in the bug report?
  17. Ju-87. Multicrew. I would absolutely love it.
  18. Fantastic! Looks great so far. This is precisely what we need for WWII scenarios!
  19. I'd even be happy for an AI version, but a fully clickable version would be absolutely awesome in VR. Not to mention the siren...
  20. Well, not much to add to the title. The Channel and Normandy maps would have a substantially larger potential for reenacting actual historic events with a flyable, multicrew Stuka module. And also add its own particular flavour with dive bombing (F4-U too, of course). Anyone else for?

    Chaff

Wow. I guess all these sites are wrong, along with RT's documentary on the Ka-50. But I'm sure you know best. https://www.airvectors.net/avka50.html https://www.militaryfactory.com/aircraft/detail.php?aircraft_id=286 https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kamov_Ka-50 https://man.fas.org/dod-101/sys/ac/row/ka-50.htm http://www.military-today.com/helicopters/kamov_ka50_hokum.htm And before the trenches here get any deeper, I threw out the 2S6 as an example because you can use chaff to throw off radar. You also have the issue with airborne threats and their radar missiles. The reason I wanted chaff was that it was on the actual aircraft, regardless of A16s opinion, and that it should be fairly easy to implement for ED.
