Well my experience is that going from an AMD 720 three core at 3.8 ghz to a AMD 965 four core at 3.8 Ghz made a difference in BS. Albeit small, but made a difference. Doesn't really matter(to me)why it made the difference it just did.

I run crossfire fine. Right click on the CCC in system tray and navigate to>crossfire settings>show crossfire status icon. That will let you know when crossfire is working. Or maybe you have Catalyst AI disabled in the system tray? Set it to standard if it's disabled. Or maybe I don't know what I'm talking about. :)

I crank it up to 16X AF and 4X AA at 1920X1200. FYI CF does nothing for BS. EDIT: It appears I can set AA to 16X in the control panel with no hit in FPS in CF. Can't really tell any difference in image quality though.
