Another week of progress made, did a lot of work on the Select Jett switches. The OH design was not going to work with the stuff i had on hand, so had to get creative.I'm pretty happy with how they came out, check out the link to see it in action. Started work on the structure for the Right Console, and got that assembled today, hoping to get it painted up this week. Next project is to finish the Lower Instrument Panel pieces, then start the structure for the Upper Instrument Panel.

Got my stick mounted, then I couldn't resist, got the existing parts set up, added an old car seat, and did a little flying today. Hope to have the Right console structure done next weekend.

Update week 2: was able to finish painting the left console, and got most of the switches and panels installed. Waiting on parts before i can go any further on that section, so i started working on the lower instrument panel structure, got MDF cut and fit.

So i figured i should start sharing some of the progress... I'm using the OpenHornet plans as my basis and modifying as i go. So without further adieu, ill just drop a load of pics. I don't have a CNC to cut the MDF parts, but i do have a 600x400mm CO2 laser, so i broke the templates into multiple parts, cut those in 1/8" (3mm) hardboard, traced that onto the 3/4 MDF, rough cut with a jig saw, then used a flush cut router bit to get it to shape. repeated this for all teh structural parts. The throttle is a WinWing, without the case, you can see in the first test fits, it did not fit well, so i had to reprint the console top with some modifications, after that i was able to get a good fit. got the top plates cut and installed (3mm MDF) and started working on the Left vertical panel, that is where week 1 ended. more to come in the following weeks i hope.

They have not been told to hold anything, but it takes a couple weeks of using the product to get a valid opinion, then a couple weeks to write the review, film it, edit it. At the same time, the reviewers have real lives they need to live.. I would expect reviews to start flowing out pretty soon. Jabbers has said has written his, and needs time to get it all together, and i believe C6 has 3 different people that needed stick time to compile their review. Others have been silent so far.

Looks like the only thing missing is the housing on the throttles and gimbals... could this week really be this week?

I would disagree, the point of the pre-order discount is to get guaranteed sales by insenting early adopters, if someone is canceling their pre-order, they are no longer an early adopter. I should note I do not work in marketing, I work in finance, and often disagree with marketing.. With that said, there is another pre-order discount window coming when the main review are released, so anyone who has canceled, has the opportunity to get back in still.

You don't need to file a dispute, you can just cancel your order for a refund.. a dispute should only be used if the seller is refusing to refund for some reason.

There are Chinese videos starting to come out from one of the reviewers, and some new pictures posted in both Facebook and Discord. Review units have been shipped to these people: 1. Jabbers 2. Ralfidude 3. Magz TV 4. Noobifier 5. Growling Sidewinder 6. Moltar (DCS world event) 7. Check-Six 8. Red Kite They are now back from holiday, and expecting to have the extension and z-axis kits available for order on the website soon. Sounds like production units will start shipping in the next week or so, they want to give people time to add extensions / z kits to their existing orders.

According to facebook and discord posts, the polished is a 1 off for a streamer to review, others will be painted. Streamer units ship out today, pre orders will start shipping after the Chinese national holiday.

I'm sure i am not alone in asking for this, but a function to bind Gear and Hook to a ON-OFF toggle (like on the warthog) would be greatly appreciated. I am aware this can be added by editing the .lua file, but this should be there by default.

Came here looking for the same thing, had the issue a few times in the last week, hoping there will be a TPOD update this week, lots of bugs to fix.

3 members of my Squadron have now had this issue, including myself. ironically when it happened to me, i was on a tutorial flight teaching a new member how to work LGBs. i should have a track file if someone can point me to how to upload it.

We recently switched from a full client to the dedicated server, but even after adding the difficulty option to the options.lua file, wake turbulence is not enabled on the server.
